For the sake of simplicity I use an average of . 004 , so 1,000,000,000 (1 billion plays) is approx $4 million dollars.

Wise up because industry rule 4080 has been a thing for almost 30 years if not longer. nikkas been saying stay independent (which she claims she is but clearly doesn't know what that means being signed to Lyor) for a generation now. We've been having the Internet for a loooong time now, the info on how the industry gets down is out there and has been for a spell. This chick's claim to fame in her songs is finessing nikkas, claims to be finessed (when it turns out that likely wasn't even the case at all).

I posted in a previous thread how labels get down if artists want to look over the contract. Carl's saying he went above and beyond for her. All that previous shyt is moot now that his side is telling a totally different story.
