White supremist-controlled hiphop culture needs to be shunned by us on a MASS SCALE. Its literally shaping and molding the mindset of an entire generation. Its keeping us in an "ignorant" mindstate and this is a perfect example why. Meek Mills (who has more influence over the youth of Philly than President Obama) would rather promote and glorify black genocide, pushing dope into the black community, and extreme materialism than to ever use his influence and platform to speak on anything affecting the "everyday" man and woman. Yall are always bringing up how white people are the biggest consumers of rap, well here's a big reason why. They love their black people dumb. A smart, political-minded black man is white peoples' worst fear. They're more comfortable with the "dumbed down and ignorant" black person, and most of these rappers represent that
Dude is an entertainer, nothing more, nothing less. If he holds influence over kids in Philly, it speaks to a much larger issue.
If true, that's just sad.
So prophetic. It's almost like Drake had an excerpt from the interview before it came outBut he ain't scared of killing nikkaz on records
Black genocide
What was the 6god line from "charged up"....
Cops are killing people with they arms up
And your main focus is tryna harm us?
youre wrong bro....its his duty as an "artist" to bring these topics out in his "art"Not really defending Meek, but it's an interesting thought.
How many black folks working a decent job are going into work and using their "platform" to discuss political issues?
I think what he said is lame, but dude is an entertainer. No one should be looking to him for political commentary in the first place.
This speaks to a larger issue in popular culture and discourse in America though,
