I didn't want to buy into the whole "M-She-U" nerdosphere talk, but damn...every male character in every show, is either a simp, needs help from a broad or both. And then there's the bait and switching....phase 4 just looks horrible right now.

Film should be well over 1B by now.

It was just a bad and corny movie. MOM was supposed to be heavily talked about the entire summer but most are forgetting that it came out.

The first one didn't come anywhere close to that and that was pre pandemic. "Importance" in a larger story doesn't dictate how well these movies do; its about the character, and the cultural moment. A Doctor strange movie is still about...doctor strange. there is a ceiling there on how much money that movie will gross, regardless of what anyone on the internet believes.

A movie making 900+ Million (especially a Dr. Strange movie) is not a “flop”. Flop gets used waaay too much. At the end of the day the movie was very profitable which is what every studios aim is. At this point the MCU kinda like both the Lebron James and Steph Curry of the movie industry

Like Lebron they can be the #1 person in a game leading the game I all stats on some 47/17/14 shyt and niccas will be like “he needs to do more that was a bad game”

And like Curry in how the game is changed and everyone expects 30+ threes a game at like 10 from the logo

Nah. it's been proven that Captain Marvel did a billion because it was the lead in to an Avengers. iron man 3 did $1.3B because it was fresh off an Avengers.

Civil War was by far the biggest Cap because it was an event. Doctor Strange 2 was sold as an "event".. w/ cameos and a larger future "arc" coming out of it

Anything else is purely revisionist history.
