:rudy: i don't know what yall are watching but that wasn't a travel. When he picked the ball up, he established his pivot foot with his left. He continued to step with his right but maintained to keep his pivot foot still.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
no joke, but when would you say the post game by most PF's/C's died off by most bigs? Most of them want to play outside the paint now. You got 6'11 Perry Jones trying to be like Durant. I honestly think in this decade, since the emergence of Dirk and 'Sheed, who can shoot the 3 ball, and the way they could step out and there high-arched shots, nobody could stop there shot. KG and Duncan can step out, but they aren't 3-point shooters. Most 4's and 5's want to try to shoot outside, and you got DEmarcus Cousins trying to shoot 3's. :scusthov:

I think it was the influx of HS players to be honest, College is where big men learn to play big. Is it any coincidence the last of the great low post players is a guy that spent 4 years in College? And big guys came into the league a lot more mature, Robinson, Duncan, Wilt, Ewing, Hakeem, Kareem etc were between 21-24 years old as rookies. Shaq was young when he came out, but even he stayed 2 years at LSU, how much different would his career had been if he entered the draft as a freshmen?

It's why we have so many of these guys that can only block shots and rebound, they never had a chance to see what worked and what didn't at the College level. Learning how to play with your back to the basket is difficult, being a PF that puts the ball on the ground and plays off the pick and roll isn't that tough to get.

he's saying he took too many steps in the gather before establishing the pivot foot. to me that doesn't seem whistle worthy obviously the refs agree with me.

Yea I know but if you watch closely in slow mo, the only step he took in the gather is the one he established his pivot foot with
