So True. I also told breh on how to make a smashburger for cheap(just make the burgers really flat), and the cook time is like 4-5 minutes AT most. Breh thought I was Gordon Ramsey for telling him this. :lolbron:

I ain't knockin' all fast food, and for myself -- as a non-picky single dude who knows how to coupon and doesn't have expensive taste -- my budget is within 10-25% of break-in difference(I'll spend like $4 for materials for a dinner at the grocery store or I can bring a 5er and get something at a fast food joint), but a lot of people aren't flexible at all. :snoop:

I know breh's who are spending 15-20 bucks on ordering food out per day, and then complaining about not having money. They act like telling them to eat some homemade sandwiches to save money is like telling a normal person to lick jars of nearly empty peanut butter instead of buying a new jar. :mindblown:

An example: I have a decently run BK that's full of competent employees and the food is made to order. I use the BK app to get a whooper meal for 5 dollars; the person in front of me pays retail and it's almost 9 dollars for the SAME exact meal.:what:

Dig it, I cook every Sunday and while I always do it with the intention of taking lunch. I rarely take it. Lunch in the cafeteria usually runs about 7-8.50 so its not terribly expensive. But I can actually cook and enjoy doing so. Just don't cook in the middle of the week, I might do a light salad or leftovers for dinner. But lunch is always a toss up. But that save money shyt is real breh. Me and my wife did it just to see for like 2 months and we looking at 2-300 extra month just from eating directly from home........but we didn't stick with it.......life got in the way......and we were back to our old habits before long.

If you own a McDonald's franchise I heard these Dollar Menu items kills your bottom line profit wise.. that along with the all day breakfast move they started over a year ago. As an independent owner you hate shyt like this but if the corporate headquarters starts up a new menu promotion like this then you have no choice but to go along with it. So even owning some of these fast food franchises isn't the move anymore.

Cheeseburger and McChicken has been a dollar for a couple of years around my way. The 2 dollar and 3 dollar menus are where they have "new" stuff at. But it sucks that you cant get a McDouble anymore or a 1 dollar fry either it seems.

Seems like the all day breakfast would INCREASE revenue wouldn't it?

Bruh it's crazy. I work an evening shift job. So i usually cook and eat heavy before i go to work. So until i get off at ten at night i usually subside on a sandwich chips yogurt peanuts type deal on the daily. But 90 percent of the staff eats out everyday spending a minimum of 10 bucks a day. And couponing is out of the question. That's to much like right. Can use a coupon and get the 2 for 6 for 2 for 5 instead but would rather not take the time to cut it out of the very paper you look at weekly.

Each franchise owner had to buy mandated new equipment for the all day breakfast menu plus alot of workers quit/employee turnover cause of the added stress of making both regular burgers and fries and then the next order is pancakes and shyt in a short period of time for fast drive thru service

Dry, overcooked trash.

I'm allergic to tomatoes and the workers use their ketchup-stained gloves to make everything. So I still end up with ketchup on my burger that I didn't ask for :scust:
