I'm not saying it's not true, nobody would lie on the coli. I am saying that it's far from the norm. I love to see anybody succeed as a result of hard work and determination. But instead, I see many people who work their asses off just to keep their head above water. More often than not, they can't even do that. It's hard to gain traction on the path to upward mobility in the U.S. and it won't get any easier as long as money continues to be transferred from the poor to the rich, and the middle class gets squeezed out.
I agree with you on that breh but lets be real. working at McDonalds as a server is a job For a high school or college student not a 34 year old trying to support 3 kids at home. I do think they should get better benefits but at the end of the day its a choice to work there. If you're not 16-19yo or aren't in college and working at McDonalds you need to make some major life changes..

you seem to forget that there isn't many options left for people anymore. Those folks are working there because they 'have' to work there

If you said that back in the late 90s when the economy was booming, that would be true. Now, not many jobs left. Even with STEM is, it will be over saturated in the next 10 years. We have piss poor infrastructure, and greedy CEOs that refuse to raise the standard of living.

Agreed but McDonald's is a bad example of that man. IMO McDonald's offers a lot of avenues for there employees to grow within the company. You guys are making them out to be like the Big Banks.

No they don't. No one is forcing them to work there. But if that is the case why not try to move up in the company. Do you think the majority of the people that "Have" to work there have tryed to advance themselves? being a McDonald's server is crap job not a career option

It went pretty well, I woke up a few hours ago and made a nice Italian dinner.

I was just wondering what were you were implying when you quoted me?
That sounds great. I love Italian food.

I was referring to you comparing chimney sweepers to McDonald serves and I was laughing at how ridiculous that comparison is

Me too!

Why is it so ridiculous? Is my experience not a valid one?

Your cousins friends uncle made his way in the world flipping burgers earning minimum wage.

I made my way in the world climbing ladders and cleaning chimneys often times for less than a crown.

Your cousins friends uncle now a franchisee, me a young upstart of the landed gentry.

:what:No one is telling these 35 yo Mexicans to work at fukking McDonald's. I have zero sympathy for these people. Plus McDonald's has a lot of options to move up in the company. Smh at these fukks wanting to live like a king for fliping burgers..

What a short sighted mind. People live like kings while playing a sport but you complain when hard workers want to simply be paid a fair wage.
