For every job replaces a new job is made. There’s a video on YouTube that talked about laughable things today that were once jobs back in the day!

That wont be the case with automation since its gonna hit every industry very rapidly.

This is a great point it wouldn't really be free you would probably have to get rid of some entitlements though.

Folks love to talk that shyt about how these low skill jobs were NEVER meant to pay a reasonable or livable wage but how the fukk is that when just a few decades ago, people worked these jobs and were able to support whole families or pay their way through college?

college, houses and overall cost of living were tremendously lower then as well

working in factories was probably the leading economy driving job then.. and coal mines were still a thing in the 60's

If you go to giant, safeway, they took away the 80% cashiers and replaced them with self check out machines. So it only makes sense.

This is way bigger than just some nikkas flippin burgers..... everybody's industry will be swallowed up by technology if it hasn't already.

Luckily my industry has already been swallowed up by technology and its actually been a benefit.

But most people will be in trouble.

Well the thing about technology, as you show, is that it opens up more opportunities than it closes pretty much every time

Where we are fukking up is throwing money after jobs that are 100% going to disappear. Imagine if we projected the jobs of horse and carriage drivers or telephone switchboard operators

I'm all for these new kiosks.... IF these companies pay for the education of the employees they are going to replace. It's not really the loss of the job that's the issue, it's the transition to other things
