Well Matt Ryan is the highest paid player on the team and longest tenured, and has been here 10 years and is " allegedly" an mvp qb, and didn't help his team to any points in the 2nd half

On the flipside, Julio is the only reason why the Falcons scored in the " revenge" game against the Patriots, when he ripped an INT out of Malcolm Butlers hands :yeshrug:

And teams actually have to game plan to stop Julio, so even when he's not doing something, he's doing something, He also made that amazing catch in the superbowl, when Matt Threw a terrible pass so he get's a pass for some transgressions here and there

What the fukk are you talking about the Patriots regular season game for? That has 0 to do with right now.

Julio is paid like a top receiver in the league and is treated by fans of the Falcons and others alike as such.

^ what about that throw was terrible?

Looked like a well thrown ball on the run over the outstretched defenders hands and a great catch on the sideline by Julio himself, a play that a receiver of his stature should be expected to make.

Kinda like the one he didn’t make in this game. And if he had made the catch as he was supposed to, then we would have scored some in the second half and pulled the game out

Again, this is a guy folks like to give ALL the credit to when people talk about Matt’s accomplishments

Julio doesn' deserve all the credit. Tony deserves some, ruddy deserves some, Michael Turner deserves some, Freeman deserves some and teco deserves some. If not for any these guys, Matt wouldn' be in the league.

I bring up the Pats game, because why you getting salty about tonight and the Panthers game, this guy is one of the main reasons we are in games. He's the reason we have a chance. Defenses are worried about Julio. Nobody is worried about Matt.

Again, Why you are mad about 1 play tonight out of 4 quarters, it shouldn' have come to that.

The Pats game, once again 4 quarters and nothing out of the offense, who got the 7 on the board? Julio, he get's a pass.

Matty was stalling offensive drives before Julio got to Atlanta.

Was at a Monday night game in 10 against the aints, trash defense was holding on, giving chance after chance for the offense to do something, and they failed. But you watch the games right? So you should know this has been happening

I blame offensive play calling and that's it, especially in the red zone. We had the ball within the 10 yard line with about 1 minute to go and we couldn't get it done. 1st play was a complete throwaway. 2nd was a bonehead shuffle type pass which almost got picked off. Then on 4th and goal from the 2, Julio slips and then misses the second catch attempt and he would have been outta bounds had he caught it. Just a mess all round and illustrative of our offense this entire season.

Part of me wants to blame Matt but the real blame has to be Sark. This guy is retarded straight up. We need a competent OC because we have so many offensive weapons and we saw what someone like Shanahan can do with such weapons at his disposal.

Big ups to the defense this year. We really stepped it up big time there.

We will be back next year. Keep your heads high Falcon brehs.

Can someone please explain to me why the falcons don’t run the ball? Please. I think Coleman was like 60 yds on 7 attempts and the Falcons were inside the fukking 10 yd line lined up in a gotdamn shotgun formation on each down.

Why does this team try to get cute and win with passing ? And why can I see this but a million dollar paid OC can’t see these things?
Some of it was personnel, nick Williams? Terron ward, Taylor Gabriel?

And I liked the 5 wr sets, but it should have been Jones, sANU, Coleman, freeman, and have hooper turn into a blocker once the play is started, and we just now decide to run no huddle in a road game at philly

Breh you're arguing with a known Matt Ryan troll, I've never met or heard of anyone who gives Matt Ryan the kind of credit he claims he gets.

Let's be all the way real here Matt was at best decent this yr, he looked at times disjointed and unsure of himself in the pocket. It was a disappointing campaign because despite this being the same offense that Shanny ran, he didn't take the command of the offense that we all thought he would. But Matt has shown in the second year under OCs the ability to really take his game to another level. I expect to see his numbers jump back to his career averages next season

I don’t think it’s the same offense. I remembering hearing that the route concepts and plain creativity from Shanny to Sark is not remotely the same.

IDGAF but 2 is not he problem. His biggest transgression this year was being average. Too often.

Same offense but picking the wrong plays at the wrong time because we have an incompetent OC. Ryan was always better when we were doing the no huddle and he was calling the shots definitively.

We’ve been in the playoffs without Julio, would’ve been 3 years in a row more than likely if not for Matt and Turner both getting hurt toward the end of 09.

And there’s no such thing as “it shouldn’t have come to that” because games often come down to a few plays here and there when you get this far into the season.

The game was on the line and we trusted our supposed best player and guy who makes that “bum” Matt Ryan look good to make a play that receivers of his ilk are supposed to make and he failed, period.

We had our best field position of the night after they kicked the ball out of bounds and Freeman immediately gives up a sack, just like he did in the SB, then Julio follows that up with a drop that would have put us in 3rd and short.

Despite the defense “allegedly” having a good game they let Nick Foles convert 3rd down after 3rd down (3rd down and 7+ at that) when we were pinning them back so we couldn’t even win the field position battle.

But congratulations you’ll be the first ever poster in 5 years that I’ve put on ignore so there is some good that’s come out of this loss

Eh, we also led the league in dropped passes(had a couple in this game that would have changed it. Our receiving core behind Julio and Sanu was awful this year(Hooper has been a major disappointment and Gabriel has been figured out)

When Sark was hired they said it's the same zone blocking scheme offense and that he would have to learn this offense as opposed to installing his own offense. I think that was part of the issue. I think the fact that this was his first yr calling plays in the NFL was also part of the problems we saw with the offense. Unlike most of y'all I do want Sark to come back because 1.) I don't want Matt to start over with a new OC, 2.) Despite all of the issues this was still a top 10 offense (we were the best 3rd down conversion team in football) 3.) The issues are fixable, situational football, especially red zone & goal line need to be addressed.

Same offense but picking the wrong plays at the wrong time because we have an incompetent OC. Ryan was always better when we were doing the no huddle and he was calling the shots definitively.

I say give Sark one more year to get it right. This team is built to win now, one more season of continuity should improve things, if it doesn't then yea we should consider making a change

@Stone you're arguing with a guy that says that Matt Ryan wouldn't be in the league without Michael Turner, Tony Gonzalez, Roddy White, Julio, etc. Don't feed the trolls breh

Yea I think we led the league in drops. I was extremely disappointed in Hooper, he's mediocre af, I don't think Gabriel was figured out, I don't think he really got great opportunities this yr. Hardy showed flashes, but it may be time to draft another legit WR. I like Gabriel but he's a FA now, I'm not sure he comes back
