you're wasting your time. I was in a thread just a week ago when people were claiming that Jeezy is an all time great lyricist and thought I couldn't name 3 rappers better than him. I strictly named all southern mcs to erase controversy and they swore Jeezy was better than guys like Bun B, Big Boi, Scarface, and Big Mike. Then the obvious answer to some posts are , "I've never heard of them". As if because you've never heard of someone makes them any less important historically lol. We have people literally telling us nothing matters before when they started consuming entertainment and then saying, "I never heard of them" as if nothing before their knowledge matters. Don't waste your time. Imagine sitting in a history class taking a test and on one of the answers saying, "I've never heard of him so this shouldn't count towards my final grade.."

The idea that West Coast listeners have lower standards for West Coast lyricists than east coast listeners have for East Coast lyricists is what I'm talking about. Primo even said it. We know this. Just because we fux with Group Home, we never tried to prop them up to be anything more than what they were. And NO I'm not comparing Kendrick to Dap and Nutcracker because he's obviously better than them, I'm just saying in general, I know what is or isn't a good rapper and just because I like someone's album, doesn't mean I put them on a pedestal.
