I agree, I hate so see my brother and sistas who are struggling to make ends meet, yet they find money for Jordans, PS4s , Gucci belts and the like. But it's difficult because so many of us grew up without and once we get put on we just overcompensate and buy stuff instead of investing and seeking ownership and value.

I agree with some disagree with others. I agree that cats shouldn't buy as much material things as if they have the money of others but at the same time that's just the norm for people in general. Its not a black thing. I don't even think its overcompensating its just trying to be what is normal for here. I disagree because people make it like for those that aren't doing those things they are all investing and seeking ownership and value when that's complete bullshyt. If that was the case it would be more people that were just living check to check. That's my only disagreement just because people aren't doing them things don't mean they investing either. I know you didn't say that but that's how it comes off.

There's nothing wrong with having nice things, and I'm not saying people don't invest, and I agree most people do it, not just Blacks but unfortunately bad behavior bites us in the azz worse because we have no generational wealth and no community structure to support us when we fall.

Exactly I remember I went to the strip club one time in a lady tried to call me out because I wasn't a big baller I spent like a hundred or so but I'm about to go in there with all of my money like these people are crazy

Some strip clubs outright call you out and stop blasting music because someone didn't tip them hoes. It reached a point where these money hungry thots reduced their humanity to a machine of making money.
