I hate this part of our politics. Why do I have to be on the NRA payroll just because I disagree? I mean if you can show me an example where prohibition was successful in negating human impulses (in the US) in all ears.

I made a thread about this a while back. Believe it or not, gun control legislative policy for the left is driven by a small group of people/organizations whose policy goals would have almost negligible implications for homicide deaths.

Why limit it to the US?

Most places have a history of warfare and weapons and you just use a wide brush and discount it.

Why not support regulation?

Just because 3D printing of weapons is possible doesn't mean it will be widespread or that the quality is on par with manufactures. As the problem presents itself it can be addressed.

policy goals can change and become more effective lol...

You're not being very rational

:patrice:

There were no good guys with guns in that concert to stop him?

Well given its Vegas most people at the concert are tourists. And Nevada doesn't recognize other states chl or open carry licenses. Hence no fake ass redneck superhero

I went to sleep disturbed after watching those IG and Twitter videos that bold ass brave people took of the shooting. fukking chilling. Clip being emptied. Pause. Clip being emptied again. Like...wow. Wake up and hear that 50+ people at least have lost their lives?

Man I don't care if it was a country music festival or a furry convention. People enjoying themselves, not bothering anyone, getting rewarded with a shower of bullets? Those cries and screams were terrible. People are so evil to each other I just don't understand it y'all. The death toll is only gonna rise. That hospital isn't equipped for something like this.

Something is weird about this. Well, a ton is, but Jesus Christ this dude was one hell of a shot.

Yes, over fifty people getting killed is weird. :gucci:

Not saying you're one of them, but why is it that shootings carried out by minorities are cut and dry, but shootings by whites are "strange" or "questionable"? :why:

One person taking down that many targets with appearently no training is weird. My comment had zero to do with race.

Shooting from a block away he appearently hit 500 plus people. Doesn't seem possible, I don't care if he was purple.

No, no doubt it was random area firing. He wasn't aiming at targets, he was just getting out a mass of bullets as quickly as he could.

Buying a gun illegally ain't no fukking human impulse. It's not like people have a "need to buy a gun" gene or some sort of psychological addiction to illegal guns and laws against it are useless to stop them. We're not talking drugs or alcohol or some addictive substance.

I love you talking about human impulses then throwing "in the USA" there as if human impulses change the moment you cross that imaginary border.
