Of course. I didn't know at time of comment that the shooting was directed at a country festival, would have changed my whole stance. I was going off a Vegas nightclub at 2:00 AM.
Relieved it's not an ISIS related incident, and it's some deranged white man. Lets see how this plays with the new admin, the deadliest mass shooting in US history, and it's a white person, how can we persecute and ban now? Doubtful it's a coincidence that Nevada has some of the loosest gun laws in country, and the shooter was outfitted with multiple military type weapons.

This is already turning into a left vs right thing, obviously, both sides, or even neutral folks, have to admit, this is the worst possible time in our history for shyt like this to happen, because we are a country so fukking far divided. I don't give a fukk what anybody thinks, I am a bleeding heart liberal, and whether republican or democrat, I just wish we had leadership in this country that could smooth the tensions and unite us at a time like this. There is no making sense of something like this, and we need someone that has empathy to deliver a cohesive and caring statement.

ISIS is losing big time in Syria and Iraq. They're desperate to claim this sort of attack in order to stay relevant.

Already saw the news updates online: "lone wolf", "not an act of terrorism" etc.
This isn't right for ISIS at all, an old white man, who has loved in Nevada for most of his life, has not spent time over seas, the profile is all wrong. Of course, it's an ever expanding profile, but I am really doubtful it is in this case. There is nothing so far reported by FBI, within hours at the San Bernadino shooting, and the Pulse one, it was clear ISIS connected. One can only hope his motivations were not similar to the Scalise shooter, that would be a really bad look, politically. I don't take any pleasure in such cynical thoughts, but these are the times we are living. An ISIS connected attack would have been perfect for the Trump agenda right now.
