i get the article is about mass murder and i'm all for more gun control. but i would argue that gun violence in black communities is a much larger issue which that article ignores completely.

Not true at all. Gun violence is prevelant in plenty of white communities as well. The media just doesn't like to talk about.

If your a white male in middle america its really hard to have an identity. In order for a system of white supremacy to work you kind of have to fall in line. No individualism nothing. You get married, You have your two kids, you work your middle class job and you die. A lot of these white males go on killing sprees to make an identity for themselves and be remembered. Even if you go to jail you'll still get sympathy and you'll still have fans. If you want your name in the history books its way easier to just shoot a bunch of people than to actually make something of yourself.

Can't deal with or deny an un-acknowledged 'problem'. You should question what the motive behind the near-total absence of these incidents in the media is really about when we are, indeed, 'blamed for everything else'. Why would something like this go unnoticed and unreported by the media? Why do we know Ted Bundy, Ottis Toole, Richard Kuklinski, John Wayne Gacy, etc., but not Lonnie Franklin Jr., Anthony Sowell, Terry A. Blair, Chester Dewayne Turner, or Jarvis Roosevelt Catoe?

actually a huge percentage of the "mass shootings" every year are gang related. look at africa, or mexico. there's plenty of mass murderers in those places. i would say it's a mental health issue, that affects all races.

truthfully humans are born to be murderers. its in our dna, the strongest and most brutal often survived in our past. being a murderer actually doesnt make you special, in fact it's probably only recently, that it became the norm for humans NOT to be murderers.

yeah, their definition of "serial killer" is screwed. It always has been.

I guess "serial killer" is somebody that kills methodically and at random, all civilians.

I've known some shooters that pulled 10-20 bodies a year over colors, drugs, turf and beef in the mid 90's-00's. Some dudes pull one or two bodies over their lifetime. Killing people isn't something that everybody has the stomach for, and not every thugged out nikka with a gun will ever use it unless it's just to throw some wild shots.
