Long story short, ships were sent to the Andromeda galaxy to look for another home world or worlds. It took 600 years to get there so this is 600 years after "Mass Effect" 1-3. You wake up and try to find a planet that people can live on.

Not sure. But there is a hub city because several arks (ships containing different races to colonize new planets) were sent out at the same time and some started building before you wake up.

is there a ps4 version of ME3. honestly i never took it seriously :skip: i remember quitting within the first 20 minutes for some reason

Meet Nakmor Drack, the New Krogan Squad Member in Mass Effect: Andromeda
BioWare introduces another Mass Effect: Andromeda squad member, Nakmor Drack. Because it's just not Mass Effect without a krogan.

Today, the Mass Effect website was updated to give us details on one of the new members of your squad in Mass Effect: Andromeda. This new character is called Nakmor Drack, and is an old, grizzled krogan war veteran.

The Mass Effect website’s description of Drack is as follows:

There’s old, and then there’s Drack. The elder krogan spent more than 1,400 years causing a ruckus in the Milky Way—wearing the title of soldier, mercenary, and at times, pirate. When the loyal, but stubborn, veteran was given the chance to join his clan on a voyage to Andromeda, he had no choice but to sign up. Doing so would present him with a whole new galaxy of stuff to shoot.

In addition, Bioware gave the following details on the krogan:

  • Origin: Tuchanka
  • Height: 196 cm
  • Weight: 340 kg (with prosthetics)
  • Known Affiliations: Clan Nakmor
  • Nicknames: Old Man, Drack the Nak
  • Combat Roles/Strengths: Veteran warrior, close combatant
  • Favorite Weapon: Ruzad shotgun
  • Favorite Biotic/Tech/Other Ability: Blood Rage. Drack becomes a raging force of nature, wading into battle with increased melee damage, damage reduction, and health regeneration.
  • Famous Quote: “Do you have any idea how many humans I’ve watched die? You’re meat. You spoil.”
Bioware has also released character profiles on other new squad members within the past few days. They include the Turian Vetra Nyx and the asari character named Peebee. There’s a good chance we will get more details on other members of the Pathfinder Team as we near the game’s release.
