Are you enjoying this game?
After all the controversy my expectations were low heading into the game so I was ready for a letdown. It's obvious almost in every aspect that this game could have benefited from more development. With that said, the game is decent and I have been enjoying it. The foundation to something better is here, I just hope the series gets the opportunity to expand on it.

What were your thoughts on the game?

Played the demo and despised it, couldn’t draw my interest and after all the hate and negative feedback from long time fans I just didn’t bother.

And it will never fail to upset me how they stretch missions out.

I just did an interview with the asari on the Nexus and I literally answered one question and she walked away and I got a prompt to wait for the next "interview".

They abused the open world to make up a lack of development of a real mission structure.

And I just walked around the settlement I made on Kadara and it is dead. You talk to one person and the rest are just NPCs doing nothing.

You aint lying about stretching out missions. Damn near every mission involved scanning three things in various locations. It was cool the first few times but it got tired fast.

Good thing I bootlegged it after reading the reviews.:francis: If I spent £40 on this I would have committed that. :demonic:

I played it up until the mission where my pappy got merked had me running around talking to people not even facing me but their eyes were in my direction the weirdest glitches.

In nearly every conversation the heads take on a life of their own, exactly like this... :scust:

Once I noticed the constant spinning heads, weird 2008-esq graphics and unfixed lighting issues I just gave up and this is someone that loves the Mass Effect trilogy. In the original 3 games I completed every side quest and explored absolutely everything then this bollocks arrives.:scust::picard:

If Anthem is rubbish imma have put Bioware on timeout.

My game didnt glitch like that but the combat is what kept me playing. The freedom to switch profiles and tactics mid battle was very satisfying. Chaining biotic and tech combos with squadmates or on your own was cool too.

It's just amazing as a company that EA would release this game when it was clear it wasn't ready

Mass Effect Andromeda and Dragon Age Inquisition both together for 20.00

NEVER BUY BRAND NEW.
I won't speak on Andromeda since I'm still an emotional fukkboy over it all, but DA:I is wild underrated and is loaded with content for 20 bucks and all the updates/patches. It's a game I replay every year now - and that's what's crazy. There's a lot to nitpick if you're going at it like that, but that's a game with a ton of love in it and legit enjoyable. Always recommend it when I get the chance.

Andromeda may have the worst party I've ever seen in a AAA RPG too. Just thought I'd hate some more.

I loved Dragon Age, bought it brand new, but I wasn't missing anything if I had waited until now to get it for 9.99. Metal Gear Solid V was free with Games With Gold. I regret buying that brand new.

It's been a daily struggle since I bought the game. Some days are worse than others. I pray god will give me the strength...
I just can't believe EA were that greedy.

The Mass Effect trilogy was a masterpiece :blessed:and they treated Andromeda as nothing but a way to milk the franchise dry.

I was so excited too. :mjcry:

I bet Anthem was originally Mass Effect 4 but because of the lash back they quickly changed the marketing.

Devs always do this, especially Nintendo they just switch around the IP to maximise sales. :wtb:

Since Anthem is being developed by the original Mass Effect trilogy team it'll just be the true spiritual successor to ME3,:blessed::wow:
