All the RPGs you gotta grind in, all the FPS campaigns where you gotta backtrack at any point, etc - its there. If you really want to get down to DA:I's sidequests, bring up all of the other much, much bigger RPGs that were waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay worse about it. FFXV was damn near all filler trash until chapter 9 or something Persona 5 wasted your time at every fukking opportunity by the hour Fallout was MAJORITY sidequests

Fallout 4 is one of the games that I bought a few years back.... that got stolen.... that I didnt even feel mad about losing

I didn't like that either, but for the opposite reason. Towards the middle of the game you could obtain those points so easily and fast it made the whole process pointless.

My main beef with the game (and most modern RPGs) is the crafted gear was 100x better than anything you could find, rendering loot obsolete. And I'm a big loot whore in RPGs.

Probably the best thing ME1 did...make me a loot whore. Crafting is nice and makes you feel somewhat complete, but there's nothing like scoring big fat juicy, hairy, loot at the end of a massive fight.

Its good but one tip.

Don't make a mage. It makes the game too fukking easy. I mean like set it and forget it easy.

Make a tank or a Healing-mage.

Get a mount as soon as possible (you'll know which missions - stables)

Ice spells are your friend - Not only is ice effective, but it also works like its supposed to. Fire is great but ice locks everything down.

As someone who just beat GTA 5 again a few weeks ago....nah that never happens.
The story in that game is smooth and streamlined as hell. You never get bogged down in any filler or grinding. Missions that seem like filler transition into big important missions.

There's a single tow truck mission, and it takes like two minutes. Most of the stuff with Michael's family is completely optional (the phonecalls to go help them after they reconcile, etc). The ones that aren't go directly into major plot points (Madrazzo, Westin etc)

Family, I think you played this game and did a bunch of unnecessary side missions and thought they were mandatory

Yeah I hated Michael's story entirely. They really should've borrowed from Heat and had you deal with a wife who loved you but didn't want to be involved in your criminal endeavors. Instead we got a retired rat who has to go to therapy and has c*nt kids. At least in the Sopranos, Tony is still making moves and is highly respected. Michael is a turncoat who can't commit. No thank you, hated him and his story entirely.

Towing trucks should really stop in all games like GTA. I'm pretty sure a large majority hates it and doesn't want to be involved in doing them, even if it is story related. There's nothing ever appealing about going 20 mph's, delivering cars in heavy traffic. I don't care how funny or interesting you make the conversation go with the protagonist during the mission, it needs to stop.

I still play the multi almost nightly so I technically can't say it was a complete waste of $47 but I'm wild disappointed.

I stopped the single on the ice planet. Super early I know but shyt was not clicking for me.

Still not optimized (how the hell after ME3? )

But there's usually a ton of folk playing. No problem getting games. And I'm addicted to the loot boxes just like ME3 so I'll probably be playing until something really good drops.
