To be fair, this is one cluster within the entire Andromeda Galaxy. I'm sure they'll open up the galaxy more in future DLCs or games and introduce more aliens. Think about the original trilogy, all those clusters (Minos Wasteland, Attican Traverse, etc. ) None of them had any alien races. They definitely played it safe with the Kett.The lack of creativity with the alien designs is pretty sad, this is another galaxy and the best they could do is humanoid looking aliens

As much problems as the game has, gaming needs the series, there's no other space RPGs in this vein and as janky as the game can feel at times the universe just sucks you in.

Yeah with the plasma seeking augmentation it's basically a cheat code and like a single shot assault rifle.
