Cats are on some revisionist BS right now :pacspit:!

When this dropped, I was super disappointed b/c I loved Harlem World so much. Had high expectations for the album. It took me a solid year to go back and listen, and once I did, it was a true gem. Mase's hard tracks were way harder than Harlem World and even his "corny 80s sample" tracks either had him flowing or doing his thing in an interesting way. He managed to sprinkle in God into a few tracks without being over the top, and def foreshadowed his departure from the game.

I dare cats to listen right now and say its wack :stopitslime:

Didn't fukk with it at all since I saw The Source gave it like 2 mics back when they were still a reputable magazine. Listened to it for the first time earlier this year and that shyt was wack outside of maybe 2 or 3 tracks. "Stay Out My Way" was dope though, wish more people would rap over "Justify My Love" I always loved that beat.

I liked the album, Mase was spitting above the level of harlem world. Mase himself delivered bars but i guess some of the production was weak(all though i dont think so)

East Side!
Only two songs I fukk with are Same nikkas and Get Ready. One of the most disappointing albums considering how hot he was at the time.

Album was nice with some bangers just lacked promotion and mase disappeared at the time there was one single barely being played and no videos or the puff machine promoting it everywhere

So that affected perception of the album but looking back its solid

Welcome back now....well that may have 2 or 3 songs i like but it was so dissapointing...damn shame mase never put out an album on g unit cuz of puff
