t's exactly the same as what happened in London a few years ago.
What started out as a protest against an act of police brutality led to people just smashing things up, attacking innocent people and destroying private businesses just for the hell of it. And all this fukkery ended up spawning copycat riots up and down the country. Why did the people who decided to start rioting in Manchester not protest about the killing of Mark Duggan? They just wanted to kick off, and get a free television or a pair of Adidas in the process, that's why.
It was supposed to be a protest on behalf of the people, so why are the rioters then turning on and attacking the same people they're supposedly frustrated on behalf of?
There's an element of society - both in Britain and America - that lives for violence. It's why you get people who go to football matches just to fight fans of the other team, or people who go out, and drink about three beers before trying to start fights with other people. Circumstances like this and London in 2011 served as a perfect excuse for these people to be in their element.
I am completely behind the people angry at the murder of Freddie Gray. I am completely behind the people who want his murderers brought to justice. This is a man who was beaten to death brutally and it disgusts me to hear about this kind of thing happening in third world dictatorships, let alone a nation that prides itself on freedom and democracy. What I am not behind are the scumbags who are just using this as an excuse to cause trouble for people who their supposed anger isn't even directed at.
Let's just hope it doesn't spread all over America like it did in England.
