Nobody seems able to answer this question.

One Baltimore cop asserted on Twitter that the kid broke his own neck by banging his head against the window. That seems a little . . . iffy. It also doesn't explain why his voice-box was crushed. One could speculate that they threw him in the van too hard but unless the kid was made of tissue paper, the more natural conclusion is that they beat him.

Guess we'll have to wait for the forensics to come out. Meantime, downtown Baltimore will burn.

The video of them putting him in the wagon is everywhere. He couldn't use his legs and his neck was crooked when they placed him in the vehicle. They most likely did that knee to the neck move and snapped it.

Maybe. But then you'd think the autopsy would have revealed more. His severed spinal cord was like, the only thing wrong with him. How do you just sever someone's spinal cord? No bruises? No nothing?
