I keep telling people that whole tribute to the troops, thank you for your service shyt is more virtue signalling so they can feel good about themselves doing the bare minimum for the vets. Especially ones like John mccain who has a poor record with vets.

Less than 1/4th defense spending goes to troopers. And when I was in the Marines, they used old equipment and was cheap as fukk, just to brag about doing more with less and staying under budget.

The military gives away equipment or simply leave it behind, because they can always get new shyt. That's why when politicians talk about a crumbling military infrastructure I laugh.

They're technically soldiers/astronauts. In real life they wouldn't be hurting though since Lockheed, Raytheon or Stark (lol) would hire them as a "consultant". Look at the corporate gigs former soldiers and astronauts do post mission.

Okay time for me to start theorizing.


I think they will throw us a curveball and he will be a decent guy, but also a complete fraud abilitywise. he actually can't fight worth a damn, and is really just there for photo ops and media spins like PTO tour version of Cap but worse. He finally gets put in a real situation and gets exposed as an actor who can't fight.

Think about it, none of the teasers have shown in him do any action.


I think this because it seems too easy to have perfect all sorts of super soldier serums and they are already exploring that angle with the villians.
He's gonna be iron man 3 mandarin status. Forcing Falcon to take up the shield to save him and take up the mantel for real.
