I think he's doing aight. There's some issues but he can get better at acting, writers can write him better.

As for being Tier 1, you would think he kinda HAS to be, but not really.

Civil War is (imo) underrated at this point...Cap may have been the centerpiece but it was really an Avengers movie. If they make more Captain America movies with Sam taking the mantle, they need to be along the same lines. You can center the plot around him, give him some character growth and have him direct traffic.

I'm enjoying the show, flaws and all. Peace to Spellman but I wouldn't have given this to one of the writers from Empire.

Like why in the fukk is Sam in the room with some Romanian cracka and a Centetarian talking about his "TT"? Only for him to have to explain what a TT is...That was like some goof ass black academic, "AAVE" flex lol, that wasn't natural at all and not on Mackie.

He is serviceable but sorry, Mackie is not a great actor. Just go watch Altered Carbon, Joel Kinnaman was unexpectedly way better. And this is coming from someone who was super excited to see Mackie in the role. It fell flat. He is not convincing in conveying his emotional state. It's like he's always fukking constipated.

Yeah we'll see how this one ends but I am not invested in this story AT ALL. The script rewrites because of the pandemic make a lot of sense to me, this story is just so ho-hum, it feels like Marvel has already done this story a million times. I would've preferred to just have a Winter Soldier solo movie either on some bourne identity shyt or him investigating some mystery.

Nothing Mackie says while acting is natural. He is terrible. Most brehs on here could act better than him, without ANY training whatsoever.

Anyway let Marvel do what they want. I support Mackie as a person and I support his right to make bread.

Problem with the show is both Bucky and Sam suck (actors suck and characters are boring). I really don’t care about Buckys therapy in wakanda (and the winter soldier words thing comes off as corny in this show)

walker is the best part of this show

100% right they won’t go full throttle with the real message . The MCU pumping military and anti-anarchist propaganda but that’s with all US media lately. They probably have military advisers on set

Even with the character John Walker he should represent patriotism going to far not some unhinged white boy that’s a little off because he did tours in Afghanistan
