I don't know about them being Thanos fans.

If you're old enough to have been alive and aware of self during 911, you'll remember how for that split second, tragedy had people who would otherwise give two fukks about each other come together in grief, awe and support on the ground to save and help anybody that was left dealing with the fall out.

It was a horrible way to get to that place of one-ness and humanity, but it was beautiful. The way they talk about the blip and how people responded by banding together, it reminds me of the disappointment you felt after 911 left the news cycle and people just went back to treating each other like shyt.

They got a glimpse of a world without borders, a world that was focused on mutual benefit and they want to go back to that. But you can't do it through force, you need hearts and minds, a consciousness shift en masse. That's where the importance of symbols come to light.

You can say a whole lot about Zack Snyder but you can't say he don't care about the comics. His obsession with Frank Miller was saturated throughout his movies

Thats not even close to being true. Its like read 3 Batman comics to come up with his take on Batman.....the comic he took the most inspiration from, DKR, Zack got the characterization all wrong. Batman and Superman act like Miller's Batman

And MoS is just Zack's Ayn Randian wet dream personified. Its a movie I expect someone would make if they thought Superman was too lame in the comics. Thats almost exactly what Zack said in past interviews

His Randian Watchmen is a b*stardization of Moore's comic. That whole film glorified violence to the point where Rorschach of all ppl looked cool.

Like we got a us agent fa real.
It isn't a does not toe the line like the comic long reveal like the comic did.

if they gon make a character colorway black costume spider woman secret wars spider man upgrade. Well alright then.
Why is his costume.
so goofie looking on first splash screen shot on film.
