Just because Daredevil is GOAT and I wanna have a 3 piece with Colleen and Elektra.
One thing that really fukkin irritated the hell outa me, is how everyone be acting all surprised about shyt all the time.
My man blind with the radar sense and is a master martial artist. Cage bulletproof. Jessica Jones a failed superhero with super strength. And Danny got a glow hand.
Why the fukk is it hard to believe there is a ninja organization gettin it poppin around the world???

Is that the bar now, whether something sucks less than iron fist? Defenders was suppose to be the end game. It was pollinated by the team responsible for DDs2 (easily the most comic book friendly series marvel Netflix has done yet). It had the luxury of having a shortened season with all 3 popular characters (and iron fist) who've already been fleshed out. And we still got meandering and mediocrity? This show was suppose to be the super bowl not some half assed written mini series to just set up series we won't be seeing for a whileUnderwhelming, but I give it a B-/C+.
Still better than Flab Fist.

ESPECIALLY given that the whole street level, "operating in the shadows to stay off the Avengers radar" shyt from S1 of Daredevil was nullified by Civil War. If Tony Stark discovered Spiderman from a YouTube video, I know he saw Luke Cage fighting Diamondback in the "recommended videos" panel on the right
So we gonna act like the Avengers haven't always been sort of an elites organization?
The characters yall are complaining about not being Avengers weren't Avengers for most of teams history and when they were added a bunch of fans complained about them not being the "real" Avengers.
It's also worth noting that Cap is the one that offered Avengers membership to Cage and Daredevil, Iron Man wasn't really in favor of it. Tony stayed trying to block people (especially black men) from being Avengers.

Yall doing way too much "I was supposed to be" when in reality the showrunners were never saying any of that stuff. The Defenders was just supposed to be a team up of all their Netflix characters.

Integrity and Consistency
Just finished the series, but I don't like the way they're treating the Iron Fist. They're treating Daredevil like the nicest w/ the hands ever.....but the Iron Fist is supposed to be that nikka. I understand they're on a budget, but it's hard for them to fully illustrate that Luke and Jessica are strong as shyt. shyt might be better animated. Not terrible, but not great either.

It's gotta be kept in mind that the Iron Fist we're seeing didn't even come close to finishing his training. Danny talks a lot of shyt in Iron Fist and Defenders but he really doesn't know what the fukk he's doing. That's why the legit martial arts masters are always calling him a dumbass and saying he sucks.
Right now Daredevil would woop Danny's ass and the only reason Danny would even stand a chance is because he can sometimes call on the Iron Fist.

I don't think the show is bad, it has it's problems but I don't operate on that "GOAT/TRASH" scale like most people around here do. It's good show that could have been better with a tighter script and a better Iron Fist. Some are in here talking about it was supposed to be Netflix's Avengers or be some huge game changer when it was never being sold as that.
