Marvel's Kevin Feige Developing New Star Wars Movie for Disney

Kathleen Kennedy might as well start packing her shyt up right now because this is just the preamble to Feige taking over the Star Wars movies.

It really blows my mind that they've stuck so long with the Skywalker timeline and story just because it's what most people know and it's a safe cash cow.

You can make most of what made that story compelling AND add a bunch of incredible looking, action packed stuff with the Force by just going back or forward a couple hundred years or whatever.

Like, it's a sci-fi universe that lends itself for a bunch of shyt that's proven to be a box office and commercial success. And they've insisted on doing as little as possible when playing with it

Then it is just a generic spaceships and laser gun sci-fi movie. Jedi and light sabers make Star Wars unique. Although, the new movies are about Jedi it is mad light on actual light saber battle. They need some epic light saber battles. Not Adam Driver swinging and missing at a hologram.

The prequels were trash, and Lucas had next to nothing to do with what made the OG trilogy great.

I get that the point of this announcement is getting good press and have a narrative once ROS premieres. No matter what happens to that movie they are gonna say "...but Feige is working on fixing Star Wars".

But fukking hell man, did Dave Filoni sent dikk picks to Kathleen Kennedy or something? Dude should've gotten the Feige role once Lucas was out of the picture. Then he should've gotten it once TLJ made a good number of the fanbase hate the franchise. And he should've gotten a nod here. At least leak that Feige is working with Filoni or something


ps: I think they wouldn't have done this if Benioff and Weiss didn't shyt the bed with Game Of Thrones. If that show would've ended on a high note we would've seen them in a bunch of articles talking about their new series of movies and be presented as the "saviors" of the franchise.

But Season 8 of GOT happened and Disney has had those two locked in a cage
