It's a great movie. People need to understand the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise is supposed to be funny. This is not Winter Soldier, and thats okay. The march to Infinity War continues.

Well THAT was interesting
Not what I expected in some ways. Really surprised by how emotionally invested I was in the characters. The beginning was just "okay" as I thought they tried a bit too hard to be like the original BUT right before the halfway mark it became its own thing.
Really loved it.

Got back from an 8 showing and for that lane, GOTG did the job of expanding the MCU, really great flick. I thought the comedic aspect was on point as well as the action scenes. Then the arc of family was pretty potent too, especially "Daddy vs Father"....
Considering GOTG was only two movies, the characters have had more development than some of the other MCU heroes, but that is another time.
Groot interactions remind me of my toddler nieces and nephews lol....

It wasn't that bad..
It was cool. I think the hype of Guardians is hurting the movie for some people though. Its just them fukking around for 2 hours *in terms of film*. Nothing more nothing less. Its entertaining if you're invested in the characters.
They better not have too many jokes in Black Panther tho

I was disappointed. Movie was funny but the plot was weak and another wack marvel villain.

It feels like a marvel comic when they go into the whole celestials thing. Incredible movie ride much better than the first by leaps and bounds.

I really enjoyed this the story and plot structure was weaker than the first but the character development between the Guardians was great Rocket, Drax, Yondu and Baby Groot really shined IMO. The arcs with Peter and Yondu and Rocket and Yondu made the movie for me. I'd give it a stong 8
