Black Panther will do fine box office wise trust me the Marvel Brand alone will bring casuals to seats. Average fans didn't know Guardians of the Galaxy or Ant man but both did well enough for sequels. If you follow reviews and blogs/youtube you can see a lot of people have BP, Antman, Scarlette Witch and Spider-Man as some of their main highlights . Panther got mad love trust me once that first trailer drops the anticipation level will rise though I do hate that some hype will die down due to it being 2 years later

I'd like that but honestly thinking which movie would make the most sense story wise? Definitely won't be Spider-Man, not Thor 3, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, maybe one of their end credit scenes if it's possible. He definitely won't be there for Doc Strange.damn they kinda screwed the gawd in the long run until his movie

This might be one of the few films where the domestic gross is EXTREMELY important to offset any foreign losses. I don't feel as if there is a huge financial risk (I.e. It does Fantastic Four numbers) because it's Marvel, and Fiege has already said that the BP solo is directly going to set up Infinity War. So EVERYONE whose been invested in these films for the past 9 films will have a vested interest in seeing this movie. That coupled with the sizeable fanbase of MJB, the growing respectability of Coogler, and the excitement of names like Lupita being involved, and domestic grosses should be sizeable.

All Marvel has to do is give us something as critically acclaimed as Winter Soldier/Civil War and I feel like the film will do well. One thing we absolutely NEED is the support of the African American community. We have GOT to show out for this movie man. I'm gonna see it at least 6 times in theaters, we need to truly be on some We Are The World shyt to make sure we enforce that we want to see us portrayed as heroic and intelligent

This can set up the future generations man. I know Ryan knows how important these films like Creed and BP are. Imagine our sons growing up in a world where Black Panther is one of the top super Heros. Imagine a world were kids on playgrounds are like "superman? black panther is the best "

the highest grossing movie with a a prominently black cast is Straight Outta Compton with little over 200 million world wide or After Earth with little over 240 million if you really think marvel's black panther is going to make more money then that in it's first week you don't know any thing about movie box-office projections and shod just stop talking now and save further embarrassment.
