AOS and IZombie were the most consistent comic based shows last season

:blessed: So happy these 2 shows aren't in the same timeslot anymore. A lot of folks sleep or don't watch "iZombie" because it's on at the same time as "Agents of..."

Adrianne Palicki is heading out of this world for her next series role.

The Friday Night Lights and Agents of SHIELDalum is set to star opposite Seth MacFarlane in his upcoming live-action space dramedy, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

The untitled series is set 300 years in the future and centers on Orville, an exploratory ship in Earth's interstellar fleet. Facing cosmic challenges both internal and external, the motley crew of space explorers aboard Orville will go where no series has gone before.

Palicki will play Kelly Grayson, the newly appointed First Officer of Orville who also happens to be the ex-wife of Orville captain Ed (MacFarlane). In addition, voice actor Scott Grimes (Family Guy) has joined the project as Gordon, Ed's best friend who is tapped to pilot the Orville.

The hourlong series, which MacFarlane also created and will exec-produce, landed astraight-to-series 13-episode commitment at Fox in May. The comedic drama is set for the 2017-18 TV season, with a pilot to be filmed later this year. The series will mark MacFarlane's live-action TV acting debut, following his big screen western comedy, 2014's A Million Ways to Die in the West.

For Palicki, the role comes after a two-season stint on Agents of SHIELD, in which she portrayed beloved comics character Bobbi Morse. ABC ordered a spinoff pilot centered on Palicki's character and Lance Hunter (Nick Blood), but opted not to pick it up to series in May. In addition to her role on Friday Night Lights, her other credits include About a Boyand Fox's short-lived Lone Star. She also voiced a character on Family Guy back in 2010.

Grimes' live-action roles include ER, Justified and Band of Brothers.

:dwillhuh: I thought Nick & Bobbi were coming back?

The good thing about doing this Ghostrider version is that they don't have to CG skull and flames, they can make a decent prosthetic mask and just animate the flames to make it look legit. Won't be hard for them :manny:

People are satisfied with Legends of Tomorrow and the Flash. They'll be satisfied with this.

Season 4 Synopsis

In the aftermath of their journey to another planet, Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and the rest of the team were driven more than ever to put an end to the Hydra organization. Little did they know that they were up against the deadliest threat they’ve ever faced – an extremely powerful Inhuman, Hive, who was transported back from Maveth in the body of their worst enemy, Grant Ward. The team was able to thwart and kill Hive and take down Hydra, but they are all still mourning the death of fellow agent and Inhuman, Lincoln Campbell.

In light of the Sokovia Accords, and with Hydra obliterated, S.H.I.E.L.D. has been legitimatized again and no longer needs to operate in the shadows. Since the world presumes that Coulson is dead, the organization needed a new Director (Jason O’Mara) to be the face of the organization. Coulson finds himself back in the role as an agent and teamed with Mack (Henry Simmons), and together they are tasked with tracking down and confirming the presence of Enhanced people, aka Inhumans. They have been trying to track down and capture Daisy (Chloe Bennet), aka Quake, who has gone rogue in an attempt to atone for sins from the past. But with the world believing that Daisy is a dangerous outlaw who has taken down banks and bridges, the new Director has no qualms about taking her down for good. Agent May (Ming-Na Wen) is tasked with training specialist strike teams, and Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) have taken a big step forward in their relationship. But with Simmons’ new promotion as Special Advisor to the Director in Science and Technology, Fitz, as well as her former team members, finds it hard to confide in or trust her since she’s now the Director’s confidant.

Robbie Reyes (Gabriel Luna) will roar into the lives of Agent Coulson and the team as a junkyard mechanic who can turn on a dime into the terrifying Ghost Rider. Will Robbie be a friend or foe to S.H.I.E.L.D. – as well as the world, itself? Meanwhile, Fitz discovers that socially awkward genius and friend Dr. Radcliffe (John Hannah) has started putting the finishing touches on a new, secret invention.

Aussie actress Mallory Jansen (Galavant, Baby Daddy, Young And Hungry) will bring life to the robot known as Aida on season 4 of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., reports TV Line. This character was actually glimpsed (well, heard) at the end of the season 3 finale when Doctor Radcliffe's experiments with LMD technology seemed to lead to the creation of a new AI.

"AIDA" (Artificial Intelligence Data Analyser) was first introduced in the pages of Squadron Supreme back in the day, but this take may only be very loosely based on that incarnation of the Marvel Comics hero.
