Personally I'm not a fan of big combos, but I am of execution.

I like that the right conditions must match for a big combo to be executed (not simply that you just get hit), that way it keeps them from happening often.

That said, I am not in favor of the simplicity. I think executing a combo should be based on timing and not just button mashing.

4-5 movement executions (not looping) and some great damage I think is the sweet spot.

End of the day, we'll play the game and see if it works. Maybe it'll please the mass majority on both sides.

The Marvel character list so far though is :scusthov: most Avengers are so boring. Scarlet Witch, Black Panther, some X-Men + FF though and their villans and I'd be happy.

I don't have a Switch (not much time for gaming these days), but this sounds like a perfect game for it.

Yep. Meanwhile nobody ever complains that jump shots in basketball are too hard. You gotta practice. Being able to do something that you couldnt do before brings a sense of accomplishment, and busting it out on people, being able to adjust on the fly etc...all of that feels good once you get it down. Take all that away and you might as well play cards.

When it comes to Marvel 3 it definitely is broken as hell, but for what its worth, landing that one hit does take skill. :manny:

Even if you have amazing execution doesnt mean anything unless you can land a hit. To use another BBall reference, practicing your J all day wont mean shyt in a real game unless you can find the opening to get your shot off.

Also I think the gameplay trailer looked good, but Capcom has so much bad will with me that I wont give them a penny unless the game comes out and is legit good. Getting tired of them. There are enough alternatives in the fighting game world that you dont need Capcom games.

The graphics aren't that bad if you ask me. I mean they could be better, but people are acting like this looks like KOF14 which looks like some PS2 shyt. This at least looks like a ps3 game lol.

At first I wanted Blackheart to return, but then I realized the only reason I wanted him back was because of his godlike anti-air assist which wouldn't be in the game because there are no assist this time. So can keep Blackheart gone now. Don't even waste a slot on him.

This. Why do u think all the combo video makers always go 0-2 in tournament? I keep saying it. Doing combos is the easy part of the vs series. The hard part is the neutral and blocking.

The gameplay looks good enough to tell me the creativity of the series is still there./ Thats all we need to be able to break the game again.

It's harder to mess Marvel up then it is to mess SF up.

The entire SFV debacle got me on believe it when I see it status with Capcom

nikkas stay having short memories about their ineptitude

What I've seen so far is :russell:, but I see tons of potential in the gems system

This

shyt like this is exactly why SFV is boring. Everything dope to learn we learned months ago. Hardly any sense of accomplishment because everybody is doing the exact same shyt.

I'm all for making games accessible, but there's a very fine line and balance.

That feeling in training mode when you go from:francis::leostare::beli::damn: to :patrice::jbhmm::ohhh::mjgrin::banderas: when learning a combo or setup is a great feeling. When you finally land that shyt in a match:wow:

I'm not saying bring back 1f links because that should never happen again but damn give nikkas something to chew on. This is the reason characters like Urien and Ibuki are so popular
