I personally like every one of the changes so far especially not having to worry about picking a character mainly for their assists

Launcher to damn near full life combo
Projectile spam chip damage to death
Crossup to launcher supersuper super full life combo
X factor launcher full life combo on multiple characters

Game is just launch memorized combo and projectile spam. No skill

Every fighting game is memorized combos and set play. I've seen your sf4 matches so I understand why this concept escapes you.

You might as well stop playing fgs now because the application of setplay and muscle memory is more important than ever in these future games. Mkx and Sfv have shown you this

Good idea. The skill is gone. Soul Calibur was the last game that relied on pure skill

I don't hate Soul Calibur I just know it's a bad game. You would've been better off saying DOA first because DOA is legit

I've been playing fgs longer and at a higher level than you for years. Vaguely throwing out the word skill is weakening your argument

Personally I'm not a fan of big combos, but I am of execution.

I like that the right conditions must match for a big combo to be executed (not simply that you just get hit), that way it keeps them from happening often.

That said, I am not in favor of the simplicity. I think executing a combo should be based on timing and not just button mashing.

4-5 movement executions (not looping) and some great damage I think is the sweet spot.

End of the day, we'll play the game and see if it works. Maybe it'll please the mass majority on both sides.

The Marvel character list so far though is :scusthov: most Avengers are so boring. Scarlet Witch, Black Panther, some X-Men + FF though and their villans and I'd be happy.

I don't have a Switch (not much time for gaming these days), but this sounds like a perfect game for it.
