Don't tell me what to do. What I said is valid. One super meter should be able to break a string
I'm assuming you didn't hear about Counter Switch.

For one(maybe 2?) bars you can switch in your partner while you're getting combo'd

You lose control of the char getting hit and you do what you gotta do

And why do nikkas get SO mad at being in combos? Why play fighting games?

Nikkas try to get by doing the bare minimum and get mad at people that optimize their play/chars

I'm glad jump in sweep works for you but some of us like doing dope shyt

Nikkas like this are why SFV is boring

Those aerial combos can still be countered like they could in MvC3 fam :ld:
Nah that's not how it works

For starters you can't break an air combo in mvc3 you can break a TAC

There are no TACs in Infinite because you can switch your partner in at any moment. They built the Counter Switch mechanic around this

I was worried about the gameplay, but now that it looks like the game is still nuts like marvel should be they just gotta get a real roster.

From Marvel:
Star-Lord
Groot
Phoenix (I know that is a longshot)
Black Panther

Capcom:
Tron Bonne
Anybody from Power Stone
Captain Commando
Jon Talbain

If you get caught in a combo you deserve it and you should take that time to reflect on your shytty play.
one hit shouldn't lead to a snooze fest though

that's the biggest problem with a lot of 'anime fighters' you mentioned - and its kinda crazy because most of the games under that umbrella have taken huge steps to get away from that outside of "just manage your meter better, noob" (which is also flatly poorly designed in many games because offense and defense resources come from the same pool way too often)

this has way too much in common with sf x tekken's introduction for me to feel any particular way out of the gate other than skeptical at best.

Im just gonna call this game a spinoff since its not a numbered entry.

MVC destroyed fighting games and made everything about juggles and less about pure skill.

Fighting for a launcher and then inputting a canned combo isn't skill
