Normally I would agree but not for these kinds of movies. After a certain point animatronics get unwieldy, both cost-wise and filming it, especially during large scale fight scenes. There's no way in hell they're gonna have an animatronic Thanos fighting the entire MCU. It's just not feasible.

I can already tell that Chadwick is gonna bulk up to be a beast, he just has the look to me. And I've enjoyed every performance I've seen of him. I hope that anyone questioning this dudes acting were doing the same for Hemsworth and Evans because it's not like those dudes were or are these great thespians...these roles are about presence and timing...we don't need fukking Daniel Day Lewis, just someone that owns the role. He'll be great.

I'm very excited to see him actually become the Black Panther. When he eats the heart shaped root. I expect that shyt to look magical.

The unfortunate truth about what goes into these casting choices is whether the chicks dig the actor in the looks dept. It wouldn't have mattered how bad cap and Thor were cuz the dudes would have showed up to see their comic book heroes in live action and ladies would have showed up in droves to swoon. I don't even think sistas are checking for this Chadwick dude.

Cgi doesn't bother me as long as its good. And trust, Disney is prolly the best at CGI.

most definitely but this is why I think this is different:

If they make an announcement during SDCC or NYCC, ultimately they end up competing with every other piece of news that comes out from those venues.

when they pick the time & day, etc. - its all about them. This is something new for Marvel now announcing an event the way Apple does when they announce new products.

same way like how Rockstar Games will NEVER announce a new GTA game at E3 or such. THEY pick the time when to drop the news.

I think we can safely say that this is not just a regular news day for Marvel tomorrow.
