The John Wick director all but begged for this and they turned him down. Let that sink in.

No amount of success from John Wick, Raid Redemption, etc is changing their minds.

Some studio heads, despite the success of the first two films, is convinced that a black vampire killer with high level martial arts, needs to be ' upgraded' to fit their vision of what audiences want. And no amount of recent flops is changing their minds.

And their focus group had shown that it needs

- a strong woman
- comedic undertones
- a PG-13 rating
- terrible fight scenes

And anything else not listed above. Whatever happened to this studio in the last 5 years is a fukkin tragedy.

Snipes made a classic damn near 30 years ago with no buzz, a dead comic book genre and a cast of damn near all unknowns and a shoestring budget. And the world's biggest entertainment company can't get it right. GTFOH.

You'd think after the last 5 or 6 movies they'd go back to 'leave we'll enough alone' but there's no bottom. This shyt is trash now.

Blade with the John wick.director could have pulled off a Joker type lane for Marvel of low budget huge ROI. This is what happens when you have all these.companies run by out of touch MBA grads and creatives detached from the art

They need to just dead the whole shyt

The longer this drags out the worse it's going to get.

As a poster already said, no one even asked for a reboot in the first place.

And If they were to do something like that, well shyt, the John Wick director was BORN to make a Blade film. But they already told him to EAD so that's all we need to know about what direction this shyt is headed towards.

Chad: So I made a film that ended up becoming a franchise that's made pretty cheap by today's standards with elite action scenes that don't even need a complex plot to connect with people. I have some amazing ideas for a vampire killer with a sword.

Feige: Nah, we got the guy that did White Boy Rick to direct.

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
If the film goes under, I'm sure a lot of third world countries will be absolutely thrilled to get all of those Blade hats that Marvel produced in 2019 and kept stacked in an old warehouse ever since then.
