Now it's "dawn of justice" the prelude to justice league :mjcry:
We don't see the company expectation and billi money spend on advertisement and deals behind the scene that don't show on the film budget (wiki)

Which I believe that's why sony did a deal with marvel/Disney and why fox is now speaking with marvel

I like how you want to play the iq check now when you have displayed poor reading comprehension through out these exchanges.:mjlol:So using what you have just written was it daring for whoever was the 1st person to create a sequel? I mean once upon a time it had never been done before and now everyone is copying, by doing it, right? Wrong. :martin:And in case you missed the point when I asked what has been achieved in the MCU that's daring that's obviously in regards to the stories/plot not the MCU concept :snoop:
What's the point of naming something? You'll just say it's not.You think they haven't been 'daring' whatsoever right?
And yes by definition if you are the first to do something that was then copied by many it was daring and even a success. That includes sequels.

Don't answer a question with a question either name what we've witnessed in the MCU that wasn't "safe" or keep it moving

PsHow is it daring to basically capitalize on a successful movie by doing the exact thing again but adding a number at the end (in the title) to differentiate it from the original? Feeding audiences the same movie x2 and saying it's different, shrewd and unimaginative? yes. Daring? Nah

Or what? If you don't think they have been daring ever in their storytelling I let that speak for itself. No need for me to name something.
How is something unimaginative if it was never done before?

so in other words you got zilch, could have saved us a lot of lines if you had just admitted that from the start.

quite simple, because its origins was by way of greed not artistic creativity

RUMOR: These Are The Movies Marvel's Scrapped Creative Committee Consulted On

OMCivQj.jpg

As you've likely heard by now, the Marvel Entertainment Creative Committee made up of names like Alan Fine, Dan Buckley, Joe Quesada, and Brian Michael Bendis will no longer be playing a role in the Marvel Studios movies. They've been blamed for Edgar Wright leaving Ant-Man and providing notes which disrupted the development of many of their projects. Now, Bleeding Cool has revealed the movies which were most influenced by this group, and it's a pretty interesting list.

Those were apparently Iron Man, Avengers,Guardians Of The Galaxy, Captain America: The First Avenger, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Captain America: Civil War. Those they didn't work on were Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3, and Avengers: Age Of Ultron. While I'm not doubting the site's sources, they're taking a very anti-Kevin Feige approach with these stories, and the fact that the movies they've been told the Creative Committee didn't work on are all the divisive and controversial ones makes me wonder if those passing on this information can be trusted (especially as The Hollywood Reporter very much painted the committee as the bad guys). What do you think?

No it's an ingenious way to make ridiculous bank even when producing meagre offerings nothing daring about it

You're talking nonsense all through this thread.

Not every Marvel movie is a gem....I only like 2-3 of the MCU movies....but to sit there and fold your arm like "nope, connected cinematic universe isn't daring"....:martin:

It's literally never been done before. They set up "The Avengers" in "Iron Man" without even knowing if "Iron Man" was going to be successful.

They put The Infinity Gauntlet in "Thor" seven years before Thanos uses it in "Infinity War".

If the string of movies between "Iron Man" and "The Avengers" flops, the MCU doesn't exist.

You're basically looking at the success Marvel has had, and retroactively deciding it was a safe bet.

Which is silly as fukk. It was incredibly risky which is why DC never tried it.

Fred.

Its insane that a film that made 1.4 billion could be a failure :dead:
Just like Amazing Spider-Man 2, it's not about the money it made but the money it expects to make and if the money is trending upwards or downwards. AOU didn't make the money it was expected to make and trends downward from the 1st Avengers film. Perosnally, I loved AOU and it's tied as my fav Marvel movie with The Winter Solider, but hey, the numbers are what the numbers are.

been for a while. negotiating about x-men show

Fox Television Group Chairman and CEO Dana Walden told reporters that negotiations are underway with Marvel to get the series moving forward.

X-Men, we’re in negotiations with Marvel,” Walden said. “We’re hopeful that we’ll be able to announce something soon. We’re not closed on a deal yet but it’s something we’re definitely pursuing.”
