It's weird. They kind of have to be to a certain extent, because they genuinely have to appeal to as many people worldwide as possible.

Batman movies were making billions a decade ago. They were critically acclaimed, audience loved them and still made more money than anything else at the time.

I don't know about all that. There are hundreds of movies that exist with high replay value.

Maybe like one movie a year feels rewatchable to me. This era just feels different than past decades. I don't know if it's because Television is the dominant media for good writing or what. But I don't have that feeling alot anymore that I need to revisit a movie or stop or watch when it's on TV like before.

Infinity war::francis: after a ten year fukking build up....the moment we all been waiting for...Thanos becomes a God but takes a axe to the chest:mjlol:

Thanos decides to kill half the universe not because hes in love with death (like in the comics) but because he wants to restore balance...theres not enough resources for the inhabitants....but with the power of a God he could've created more resources:ohhh: ...dumbass

I was with you until this part. Couple things....

Storm Breaker can kill Celestials. So yeah....it's not as if Thor hit Thanos in the chest with a regular axe.

I will never understand the whole "why didn't Thanos create more resources?" argument. shyt reeks of social media over thinking. I lost track of how many times this was posted on IG, Facebook, etc.

Dude was going around killing half of every planet. He wasn't opening Soup Kitchens. He wasn't working on sustainable farming. He wasn't setting up recycling programs.

So why, when given the power of a god, would he deviate from his original mission statement....which was killing half of everyone?

shyt makes no sense from any angle. I had my problems with "Infinity War" but this in particular is silly as hell to complain about.

:ehh:

Fair enough....stormbreaker came along after I stopped reading comics so I didnt know that....you right about his motivation too...the movie as whole was a let down to me, wasn't worth the decade long build up....but it wasn't made for me, and I'm cool wit that....

....I'm still go talk my shyt, tho:ufdup:

I'd agree more if you said, Killmonger. Chadwick does a good job as Black Panther, but that movie could've been taken to the next level by a truly great performance by Killmonger.

Rewatching that movie is hard at times because Michael B. Jordan is somewhat cringeworthy in a number of spots.

Oh Michael b Jordan certainly ruined the movie, he did not have the gravitas for that role.

I fukk with Chadwick but Djimon was the actor I always wanted to play black panther
