Whoever the avengers were fighting against

Loki barely stands out. The winter soldier isn't really a villian.


With this track record looks like marvel will drop the ball on thanos, since they never make any villain seem larger than any super hero to face.

Marvel does define one singular villian. Any studio can do that. It's bigger that one character.

Aside from Loki the villains in Marvel movies have been ass. Even in a great movie like Guardians of the Galaxy they had a lackluster bad guy in Ronan the Accuser.

What comic book movies from the past 20 years have had great villains? Because outside of The Joker I'm not seeing this trend of great villains that Marvel alone fails to live up to.

This is very true....and I still don't give a fukk. Marvel has done such a great job of focusing on the HEROES and the overall universe that it hardly matters that the individual villains haven't been memorable.
