All that spinning heel kick bullshyt can't stop a bullet.

:beli:

Within punching distance and a knife in my pocket ill take my chances against you with a gun in your waist line. Bet you stop breathing before you get a shot off and lord help you if you dont have a bullet chambered.

Eh breh I ain't doubting you skills, all I'm saying is that you can train all you want but anyone with a gun is putting you down.

Given distance, thats true. Given the fact that i always carry a knife, anyone pulling out on my in punching range isnt going to make it. Im just not trained to stand there and watch someone reach into their waistline. Especially if i am in range to make contact. The guy in this video knew nothing and bodied to cops easy.

Peopel react differently when they realize their life is on the line. Im not sure if youve been chased by someone with a knife but its terrifying.

You sure, remember you're human, you may be a skilled combatant but you could slip up and end up getting dat dere formaldehyde treatment.

Well when confronted with life or death you have two options

1. Be a spectator
2. Be a participant

I think ill particpate in saving my own life. Im not gonna watch someone pull a gun out on me and shoot me im sorry. Ill take my chances.

I saw some sanda/sanshou in there. That shyt's legit also...basically a chinese form of kickboxing w/ throws and takedowns.
I mean I've basically been talking about traditional methods of training wushu in here, but in application thats exactly what it looks like. Kickboxing with palm strikes, knees, elbows, and takedowns.

changquan/long fist has always been a weird one to me. This is a style thats gotten bit by the performance wushu cultural dance performance bug really really hard. Finding a good instructor for this one outside of china is rare. either way, watch out for guys claiming descent from the shaolin temple or whatever...

thats all :duck:
