He’s saying the Hughes Bros originally wanted 2Pac to be the lead but he only wanted to lead in John Singleton films. So they gave him the role of Sharif.Sharif wasn't the lead role.

I never said it was. I said Pac didn't want the lead role because people tried to make the argument that he was being a diva and wanted to be in the spotlight in the movie. When that wasn't the case at all because he flat told the Hughes Brothers he didn't want a lead role in the movie.Sharif wasn't the lead role.
He was the aggressor AFTER they pulled the fukk shyt. Son had differences in artistic direction for the movie. Left the film and didn't speak on it. Or bash them. They had an agreement they wouldn't bash eachother to the media. Them nikkas turned around and did it anyway. Which is why he jumped them. All reports shows pac as the aggressor and the one that took it to far
He DID. THEY are the ones who bashed him to the media. Which is why he jumped them.This.
Breh was clearly unstable on alot of levels. To be fair Pac was the one that almost escalated every issue he had
He jumped the Hughes brothers over some bullshyt
you should read the last biography on his life. After reading it, I was seriously shocked he made it to 25. The amount of altercations he was in on tour, in the studio, video sets, etc.. A lot of people around him were like, "It's not that serious" until he got with Death Row. They matched the energy. We say we love black men on here but never give them grace for shyt like this. Dude was in his early 20s for fukk sakes it was alot of stupid shyt we did. TBH someone like pac and his background wasn't supposed to make it their teens.
I’m just talking about the “hold you down” part, I think they would have been a better choice than Suge and his bs. Protection don’t come free, no matter who you go to, so I’m not surprised they was taxin heavy. Celebrities pay it man, trust me, feeling safe is a necessary expenseIf you thought Suge was in his pocket, what do you think the Nation would have done? haha. They bled Ali dry until Elijah Muhammad's death and he had the courage to finally leave after they split into different sects.
Shooting at two cops who didn't disclose who they were. All that turmoil under the age of 25.I would go as far as the rape case. Hell, it just seemed like a downward spiral of poking the bear.
After a while, you end up becoming the villain and made into a martyr. I just wish dude would have done things differently. I remember seeing this documentary of the prison interview with Pac My man had the beard and full on fade like nobodies business. But the conversation was so different. My wife and I were like
- Janet Jackson giving ole boy a HIV test
- The Hughes Brothers playing him
- The Quad Studios shyt
- The prison rumors
- Label woes
- The media
at the transformation.
Dude was one big what if. What if he would have married Jada, what if he actually got that role in Menace, what if he rescheduled the Quad Studio time, and what if he would have continued to be with the Underground?
So many possibilities and somehow, there's no third chance at this game called life. You fukk up the second time, game over....
Probably not. He had already went too far down that other road. What happened to him was damn near inevitable.
