2pac was way too smart and had way too much to offer the world to be hanging around a talentless, worthless piece of shhit like Suge Knight man, for real. He should have never signed over there…even if he was feeling a little worried about Jack and them…he coulda got the Nation or somebody else to hold him down, anybody besides that demonic ass big dummy.

Yes im sure he missed it but nikkas act like those werent choices he made....

You gotta remember he was 25 when he died. I can remember being 24/25 was a fukking idiot doing a lot of dumb shyt, I can’t imagine being in his shoes with the cases, being shot, money, fame, etc on top of everything else he had already gone through by that age.

It seems that he missed his younger care free days when he used hang around and fool around with those guys.

It's sad how he died. I always think that if he had the chance to live at least one more year, he would've matured so much and left the bullshyt aside

RIP
Probably not. He had already went too far down that other road. What happened to him was damn near inevitable.

Spike wrote the part of Radio Raheem for Laurence.

There were conflicting stories i’ve read about why he ended up not playing the role. One story was just plain old scheduling conflicts and the other was Laurence had issues playing a character who died at the hands of police violence. Either way Bill Nunn was PERFECT for that role in a way that I don’t know if Laurence could’ve brought the same intensity.

Doesn’t Spike not like Fishburne or something like that?

The 718
Pac had a unique shine/charisma no other Hip Hop artist comes close to imo. That was his gift & curse. All that fire creates an spectacular luminance, but it just means your light is set to burn out twice as quick.
That's why I never do the what if scenarios with Pac too much...nikka moved in a way where he clearly didn't care about how long he lived. Somebody with his energy was always bound to die young.

You can make that argument.

he was 22 when he caught the rape case, 23 when he went to jail, 24 when he signed to Death Row, 25 when he died

he never had a chance to really grow.

If you thought Suge was in his pocket, what do you think the Nation would have done? haha. They bled Ali dry until Elijah Muhammad's death and he had the courage to finally leave after they split into different sects.
