I just binge watched the first 4 episodes and I enjoyed watching this :ehh:

This shyt is hilarious to me because I didn't put the bar so high for the show to be honest:yeshrug:.

I'm happy for Marlon! The ratings keep going up every week. I will definitely continue to watch. Gotta support black tv.

Came in with low expectations. Much better than I expected :ehh:. They have a solid cast around him. He actually hasn't been as extra as I expected. The divorced angle does seem kind of silly and unnecessary but he claims that he has the same setup in real life and the show is based off that :manny:.

I need to check it back out again.

I didn't know TV shows could work with people wanting 50 episodes uploaded to Netflix & people being infatuated with YouTube.

However, it seems like black shows can still work in the traditional model. Hmm....is cord cutting & YouTube personalities overblown??!??

What does cord cutting have to do with anything? Cord cutting is just getting rid of cable, which has become more archaic because of streaming.

Majority of blacks aren't cutting cords and blacks still support tv and are a big boon for ratings.
That said white execs don't like that, so most of the time they downplay ratings when they are black people backed and say it isn't the "right kind" of rating or in general downplay it or ignore it.
