Yea i know alot of cats didnt like Camron wearing pink. And there is a difference between a couple of celebrities like MJ/Prince being suspect and damn near every young black entertainer being suspect. From DWade to Omar Epps to Lil Wayne. thats sports/film/music

And there is a difference between dressing up as a woman in a show and dressing like that as everyday attire. In the show we watched Martin like "oh hell nah this nikka crazy" knowing damn well it was acting. nikkas aint acting these days.lol
Are you saying people weren't dressing up as women in the 80s? Are you saying a lot of people didn't try to dress like MJ/Prince/Rick James? You're lying lol.

Google search: 80s gay. See how many results you come up with. Gayest generation by far and many people agree. And 90% of the shyt that went down then would not succeed now.

I was born in the 90s. Timbs and Avirex >>> Skinny Jeans with the back blown out. I'm not going to argue with you nikka, i don't condone men wearing female clothing and never will.
nikka if you was born in the 90s, stfu cause that's even worse :laff:

So you support nikkas saggin' their jeans low enough for the next nikka to see their underwear? Even knowing that it came from prison for "I'm gay"? You support nikkas wearin' pink? NO one is walking around with skinny jeans with the backs blown out, so stop trying to over exaggerate (a feminine thing) to get a point across. Also, I'm pretty sure the skinny jeans worn +15 years ago are wayyy skinnier than the ones worn today.

EVERY generation has some gay shyt happening in it. That's why no one should give a fukk about what anyone decides to wear and just do them and mind their business., as MEN should do, not being fashion police..

---------------------
Y'all stay talking about black people should be seen as individuals and that y'all hate white people see 1 and judging all, but look at all the "this makes all black men become effeminate" talk in here. shyt's hilarious. Y'all love being seen as a monolith.

Are women allowed to wear pants? What about ties?

Up until about the 50's/60's, it was taboo for a woman to wear pants.

It was seen as tacky & ratchet.

The 60's was the gift & the curse. They broke the ice on a lot of issues, but they unintentionally opened Pandoras Box, also.

Feminism was like the lil rat that jumped on the oxen's back.It came in riding the wave of revolution created by the Civil Rights Movement/Panthers/Anti War Protestants.

They ended up winning more than most.Laid the groundwork for a lot of the ratchet shyt we see now.

History repeats itself. The gay rights demographic is up to the same shyt

I would not want my daughter to wear a shirt with her belly out as well, so your point is pretty moot and actually has more to do with conventional standards of dress across the board for both sexes rather than individual sex/sexuality. :yeshrug:

Damn it's gotta be terrifying living as Lord Jamar. Like waking up everyday seeing Kanye wearing a skirt and 'queer' rappers like Kendrick taking over hip-hop and he just gets so shook up, he walks through life with his ass clenched.

It's funny how the folks who say this doesn't matter have so much energy to devote to arguing about this.

For much of the world, the only image of Black people they have access to is through media. And on the flipside, Black children consume more media than any other group. How you present yourself to others matters. Successful groups control their image. Unsuccessful groups let others control their image. It shouldn't take a 40 page thread to explain how Black men wearing women's clothing is detrimental to how we are viewed by the rest of the world. If we were a majority, we could do whatever we want and justify it by controlling the narrative; because we are a persecuted minority, we can't and need to be more cognizant of the choices we make.

bytch nikkas like you disgust me. Your whole stance is: "well ya'll fell for all this other shyt,HOW DARE YOU NOT FALL FOR AND ACCEPT THIS GAY shyt TOO"? nikka everytime some bullshyt was placed upon black people, there was some people who saw it and opposed it. They just werent strong enough to stop it. But everytime we've had bullshyt forced upon us,someone said "hold up,this is bullshyt". You can go back to the early 90's and hear non-gangsta rappers warning us about where hiphop was going,i was a preteen/early teen and couldnt comprehend.Although I dont mind nikkas telling their stories,it think it's sad that if you go to datpiff, live mixtapes etc you'll see a shytload of dope boy music as if that's what life and hiphop should be predominantly about . Now i'm in my mid 30's and i see this new gay shyt clear as day being pushed upon us and the damage it's doing and will continue to do. But nikkas like you want to act like THIS IS NOT AN ATTACK ON BLACK MASCULINITY. You're just as ignorant as a 6th grader with this nonsense.

No, that is not what I was saying :comeon: my point was that we've had, and continue to have REAL shyt/PERSECUTION to us and dumb fukks like you only want to mobilize/find concern with shyt that amounts to nothing. Omar Epps could step out in a bra and panties-- our brothers are still going to be hunted down and locked up. On the flip side, Omar Epps could step out in a 3-piece suit or what have you and guess what???-- Our brothers are STILL going to be hunted down and locked up.

This focus on fashion, who so & so loves, etc means nothing in the grand scheme of what we're facing. Idk who the fukk "they" is, but "they" are not "pushing" shyt on any us. Ya'll CHOOSE to seek this shyt out, just like ya'll CHOOSE to get mad about it and take it up as an actual cause to fight. I can't make this shyt any simpler: You, me, our young boys that are coming up ALL have a 1/3 chance of going prison in our lifetime. These are hard numbers (link) Now I ask you, what are the stats for fashion decisions turning black men gay? Marinate on that and get back at me when you've figured this shyt out.

Hoe ass Nikka, the only reason I brought up those other points is because Y'ALL are putting "the effeminization of the Blake male" on the same level as REAL problems in the black community.
if you don't think that the effeminization of black males is a "real problem" then remove your fakkit ass from the discussion and let people who do feel it's a real problem discuss it in peace.

I work with youth and trust me an actor with eccentric fashion choices is NOT on the list of immediate things that should be addressed in our community breh.
Then stop addressing it thet. Nobody forced you to participate in this discussion.

If anything the teenage students I work with have an issue with over compensating their masculinity, it's very misguided because they constantly feel the need to prove how manly they are very few of them are comfortable enough in their own skin to even think for themselves .
This is clearly some shyt that you've pulled from your ass. Hypermasculinity is clearly not the problem with today's young black men. These young cats don't even know what being a man is all about and that's courtesy of the powers that be. These kids aren't trying to prove how "manly" they are wearing skinny jeans, leggings, scarfs, faux-hawks ect. They're proving how effeminate our society is making them. You're full of shyt.

And it's many systematic issues that have lead to our youth being this way.

But Omar Epps wearing a skirt is NOT one of the epidemics I see effecting the youth bruh,
It's not just about Omar Epps. It's about there being a clear obvious agenda to effeminize black men. This Omar Epps stunt is just another example of that. You wan to talk about "systematic issues" while ignoring the obvious propaganda being pushed on our community via the media as if that isn't a systematic issue. The media is definitely part of the system and it has always been used to perpetuate racial agendas. You claIm to work with kids then how the fukk can you not see that young black males are becoming more and more effeminate while young black girls are becoming more masculine? You can either agree or disagree with that fact, but you can't ignore or dismiss it.
