you work remotely you have a digital footprint. I doubt a tech company will overlook the fact that you login in from texas regularly.
:unimpressed: Yall never heard of a vpn

None of that shyt matters.

My company thinks I login from Las Vegas everyday.

And I know because I work in a capacity that gives us access to authentication and network traffic logging, so I check periodically and play around what vpn server I am using

It will be impossible for companies to verify if you do it right

Trade and Barter is the back bone to early economies, but even that has its limits.

When you work you are bartering your time/labor for cash denominations.

Same backbone as in prehistoric times

Businesses are only an efficiency tool, they are by no means a backbone of any economic system.

If demand does not exist, you can create 1000 businesses and the best kinds and they will all fail and the economy will fail.

Covid is an example of that.

All these businesses, but because consumers demands have dropped, they are dying

I doubt it. A lot of work is already offshored but the high level development and creative work will stay in the US because the quality of talent here is much better than what you get in India for example. Anyone who's worked with offshore talent knows what I'm talking about.

Canada.

Depends on the nature of the business. If it's a company with multiple offices around the country and traveling for customer meetings or projects routinely is the norm then they don't really care where you log in from

Honestly, it’s not even Sandeep from Puné that will snipe the jobs. But Mark from Toronto or William from London.

Salaries in the US are much higher than in places like Canada or the UK. I’d say talent is on par, however.

EDIT: For Example - Starting salaries for an Investment Banking Analyst at NYC vs London

NYC - $85K Base
London - $64K Base

Both cities COL are about the same.
But you're dealing with completely different timezones. It's really not practical at all to serve your customers on the West coast with employees based in the UK. Not to mention the astronomical costs that would be involved with travel when needed.

Canada just does not have the numbers talent pool wise to make a difference either.
