lets remember who they played, panthers have been giving it up to everybody on the road this year

Yeah but also came in cold on the road in Houston and we won that game to. All we can do is play the schedule in front of us. Sanchise goes to Lambeau next week and Beats Rodgers at home then that will be impressive and he will be 3-0 after that.

People act like the Jets defense was putting up 110 and 120 passer ratings on Beli and Tomlin's defense on the road in the playoffs that last year. Mark has some low moments in his career but go back and watch those playoff runs, especially his 2nd year. He was the best player on the Jets. The defense got them there, but except his first game against Peyton, Mark was the reason they won those games.

The commentary his first two seasons was always "you know, the kid doesn't get rattled. He has great nerves. He'll have a bad game and come right back the next. He makes mistakes but he'll win you some football games if the chains come off too." Then year 3, they trade away the receiving core, let Green take all the running snaps...into the ground. And the defense lets ppl go. Now you HAVE to rely on Mark with a mediocre offense and a fading D. He want good enough to be the focus of a defense. He still needed a run game, especially with the lame receivers he had. Year 4 saw more of the same and then the O line got even worse with moving lineman to new positions and shyt. Now he's getting blown up for almost 2 seasons straight with no one to run the ball and no one to pass it to.

Commentary changed to "He has no confidence. He's soft. Theres just too much pressure for him etc" and I'm like, so his first 2 seasons he "performs great under pressure" now he can't cut it and take the pressure? fukk outta here. The team sucked, they never took the chains off him and opened the play book because the offensive schemes were shyt. The offense was shyt, and then the defense was shyt too. He was never a great qb, but under those circumstances he was good until it was him or bust. That's when he went to straight doo doo.

New team, new coach, a place that actually has the wherewithal to nurture a young qb of nothing else. Mark can make plays. He's an average qb that can give you great moments here and there. He did it with the Jets, he can damn sure do it with another team. It's just one game, he could suck the next two weeks but he probably won't and will further prove that the Jets are a shyt organization and have no clue what to do with a young quarter.

Mark was NOT our best player and the reason we won those playoff games. Thats laughable.

He did a good job. Limited his turnovers but he was along for the ride.

The first playoff run we beat the bengals and chargers. We beat them with defense and greene. Greene was by far the most important person on offense in that run. When we lost to the colts, we were right there in the game until greene went down with injury. After that our running game was non existant, mark couldnt win us the game and the colts ran away with the game.

2nd playoff run was all rex and his defense. The game against the pats is the greatest game rex has ever schemed/called. And again, greene was instrumental. Shaun ellis had such an amazing game that the following offseason belli paid him like 5x what he was worth.

Mark is a game manager nothing nothing less. The problem is he turns the ball over at an alarming rate.

This organization made so many bad decisions after the Steelers loss...it's cool seeing Sanchez with a team that knows what it's doing...but I still have my doubts you'll be able to count on him as a QB game in and game out. Obviously though, the current Eagles team is a much better situation than the 2011-current NY Jets.

Rex had/has way too much power for a guy that only cares about 1/3 of the game and he's a big reason why Sanchez turned into a total disaster in NY.

u jet fans love to put the blame on err1 who doesnt deserve it

SANCHEZ Is terrible and it isnt the coaches fault

when nyj was stacked with talent sanchez looked good, and rex also

when nyj lost talent and become mediocre in the talent pool, sanchez looked like the bum he is, and rex looked like the dc he really is

which leads to the real problem the G.M

Lots of us got torn in here for pointing out how bad an offensive coordinator Mark had in Brian Schottenheimer...but I'm gonna act like some of y'all don't remember hearing his name.

:mjpls:

Good luck to him, but I still don't know if he's good or not because he nervous had a "real" chance

Rex was basically the defacto GM from 2009-2012.
