:what:

for those who say mcelroy didnt add anything, he was playing protected as hell by the play calling and most plays were runs. the few throws he did have were good. he only did what he could based on the play calling just like tebow, they have never given tebow the opportunity to do anything.

so sick of this team babying this guy sanchez, i hope to god he has a horrible game sunday. i hope next yr rex and sanchez are gone.

Jets fans wont want to hear this, but it's the right decision. It's not a 49ers situation, where the backup showed a marked improvement or added another dimension to the offense. It's also not like the 49ers where the backup was already seen as the future of the team and already played a part in their offense. Let's be honest, all the love McElroy got was a product of hating Sanchez and wanting to see anyone but him in there. You guys know that you don't have a good QB on that whole staff. Sanchez is just the better player of a bad group. Rex replaced him last week because he was ineffective and was facing another loss after the most embarrassing loss since he's been the Jet HC. If he's ineffective to begin the game this week they'll take him out again. I'm assuming this is all getting blown up at the end of the season regardless, so if I were y'all I really wouldn't be putting emotion into any of it.

how is it the right decision when sanchez was playing almost as bad lindley, probably the worst quarterback performance ever, a 4 year veteran was playing as bad as a rookie. and it's not only this week, you can't just say it's one game. if he was the better player he'd be playing like it, if he gave them the best chance to win, they'd be winning. it's all about the money!

Sanchez ranks 32nd in passer rating, dead last among 32 QB's.

At this point it's not about whether McElroy is the future or not, it's about making Sanchez your past.

Every single year he's been in the bottom 3rd of the league in passer rating. Now he is at the absolute bottom

But Rex is the coach, he shouldn't be letting the GM strong arm his ass like this.

The GM shouldn't be controlling who sees the field, Rex is a punk/moron.

They been kissing this kids ass for 4 years, protecting his ego non-stop.

:dahell: All three QBs are bad. Do you want me to go through every game a rookie has played this season against a vet and indict all the vets that lost as not giving their team the best chance to win? The Jets have no good QBs! Any faux indignation about Sanchez playing this week is based on the hardon fans have when it comes to hating dude. They're gonna blow this bytch up at the end of the season anyway.

So because they're not winning, Sanchez doesn't give them a better chance to win than Tebow or McElroy? @yseJ is right when he says some of y'all nikkas worship QBs in this league.
