My respect for bomani jones has increased astronomically over the past month. Salute to that brother. I wish it was him in Stephen A Smith's spot on First Take. They ain't ready for that though.

Bomani is the real voice of reason. He sees through the maze in every single situation. "Trying to draw up a visual I should fear." Whaaaaaaaaaaa! It doesn't get any better than that. Bomani is a genius. Mark Cuban disappointed me big time. Cuban came off as the guy "against the establishment," but this Sterling situation provided him with the opportunity to tell us how he really feels. Today he proved that cac's gonna cac. :beli:

He didn't sell out to ESPN at all... He's probably the one guy who works for them, who says the shyt that needs to be said in regards to race. There is a reason that Bomani isn't on one of the flagship morning shows with Stephen A Smith,Jemele Hill, Michael Smith.

Here is one of them

I respect LeBetard for his cosign of him. ESPN has been avoiding him for a while until now.

but you know the type of cat he is talking about...why pretend like we all dont look at certain dudes sideways when we see them walk down the street?
Why did you go straight to Neo Nazi? He said nothing about Neo Nazi, he said White guy w/ shaved head and tattoos...most that fit that description arent neo nazis or racist (there is actually an anti racist skinhead/punk scene)...you just understood what he was getting at.
The same thing for the black kid in the hoodie example....you knew what he meant.

i'm not pretending shyt...I knew who he was talking about, but his description was bullshyt...it was basic and generic as hell...every black man fit that description cause of a fukking hoodie...that's the same bullshyt you hear when people name black people as suspects 'he was black, wearing jeans and a tshirt'....

as for looking at certain people: it aint the clothes why I look at people....clothes are just that, clothes....the person inside them is what makes that person, not the clothes....hell, I've met and learned about more crooks wearing business suits than hoodies...

as for the neo nazi, I went there cause that was more descriptive compared to a 'black kid in a hoodie'...how cant you see that?....also, the fact that he can give such a basic, general description about a black guy, and you go there means you've fallen for the bullshyt propaganda too...

What's wrong with what he said? At least he had the balls to say it. Many people feel what he feels internally but won't say it out loud. We live in a society now where if you voice any opinion people wanna throw tantrums.

Correct me if im wrong but how did "in the dark" slide into the argument. Where in his quote is this darkness that he is seeing these people in. All I see is " black kid in a hoodie". Are they inserting "in the dark" to make this seem more acceptable? :heh::mjpls:

Edit: saw part of the interview, he does say "late at night"
