What's wrong with what he said? At least he had the balls to say it. Many people feel what he feels internally but won't say it out loud. We live in a society now where if you voice any opinion people wanna throw tantrums.

read through this thread if you're generally concerned about how what he said was wrong.

Correct me if im wrong but how did "in the dark" slide into the argument. Where in his quote is this darkness that he is seeing these people in. All I see is " black kid in a hoodie". Are they inserting "in the dark" to make this seem more acceptable? :heh::mjpls:

that's exactly what they're doing, see how sick some of these people are breh?

Cuban is not Latino he is white and Jewish. His parents came from Russia and changed their last name just like many white foreigners during that time when they came to America. They would change their name and no one would know that they were Jewish or Irish or Italian. They then could live like Anglo Saxons and get all the benefits. Black folks could never do this unless they were extremely light and could pass...which was very rare.
Cuban was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,[6][7] and grew up in the affluent suburb of Mount Lebanon, to a Jewish[8] working-class family. The surname "Cuban" was shortened from "Chabenisky" when his Russian grandparents landed on Ellis Island.[9]

white people actually do this, they don't say the n word of course but they say shyt like, "I don't look at you as Black, you talk proper and don't act like the rest of them" which is basically the clean version of what Chris Rock said.
Its called teh dog whistle.

Conservative politicians do this all the time.

what he said wasn't wrong. it wasn't eloquently worded but its an unconformable truth many people wanna bury their heads in the sand and pretend isn't real. what i see is a man saying if he sees someone that fits into a stereotype society has taught him to fear he will fear them.

No, people are throwing "tantrums" (nice little dis there btw) because he is bigoted, not because he voiced his opinion. Going to the other side of the street because a black kid has a hoodie on deserves some kind of public backlash, no? Especially when you interact with black people and their families everyday. When black people from all corners of the country support your businesses and love your personality. When families with young black kids spend their last dime to bring their kids to his stadium to see the Mavs. And when he himself sells these to young black men.

Im as white as white can get. Grew up middle class. My old man always said, never wear a hood on your head in public or while driving. Also never wear a hat backwards in public or whole driving. :manny: Cops look for those two things.
:mjlol:
Cops don't give a fukk about you, breh.

Cops look for one thing: nikkas

You could drive by the cops like this

and they'll probably just chalk it up to you being "young" and "doing what everybody did when they were young." White people's excuses for white misbehavior are boundless.

I see what Cuban is doing

he's scared that somebody might record him saying something bad Muslims or gays or similar and him losing his team from it

he's reducing the risks for himself
and the league SHOULD do that.

If the NBA wants to be run like a Disney Resort, i'm ALL for it.

If Cuban wants to talk his shyt in a vacuum, he can start his own fukking league.

the majority of human beings are to a degree bigoted and have prejudices. even the people throwing stones at him probably have their own. its in part a self defense mechanism. its not about being right or wrong it's about being better safe than sorry.

if you see a pit bull walking down the street unchained and it hasn't noticed you that pit bull may or may nor rip your leg off but if society has taught you to fear that then perhaps you do. or maybe you acknowledge that all dogs aren't vicious and walk right past it.

bottom line is that, this isn't about Mark's prejudice at all, Mark came out and made those comments to lay the groundwork for him and other NBA owners to vote in favor of Sterling keeping his team because "everybody is prejudiced" and it'd be hypocritical of him to vote a prejudiced owner out when he's prejudiced himself, all this in spite of Sterling vehemently denying being prejudiced or racist.

this is just another example of the "culture" protecting another member of the "culture" and nikkas are so fukking blind and stupid that they don't see that they're yet again being played like fools.

"Mark ain't do nothing but tell the truth" ass nikkas, I hope the NBA owners votes are public and I hope the majority are in favor of Sterling keeping his team just so I can see these same nikkas' reactions.

prior to Cuban admitting prejudice, it was widely accepted that any owner who voted in favor of Sterling keeping the team was basically admitting that they were okay with what he did, but now that he's come out with the "everybody is prejudice" talking point, he and other owners now have tons of wiggle room to vote in favor of Sterling keeping the team, and with all the Black peolpe I've seen cheering on Cuban's comments, none of these nikkas should have a problem with it.

:pacspit:

Black people really out here looking absolutely foolish, and we're too stupid to see it.

I gotta spread rep to others before i can give rep you again....will do, but till then, keep spitting that real...one day it'll click and cats will get it...
