M.E.D got SAS reeling
Great analogy... Most of them live in a bubble and are so far removed from the current Black experience that they honestly believe what they're saying..These silly new blacks man... its like when women listen to rap song all about bytches and say the rapper aint talking about them...
I been trying to tell people this. What Mark Cuban was saying was actually good in the full context he just used a poor example especially in the proximity of the Trayvon case. People are taking what he said out of context and missing the whole point.I just listened to his comments and the outrage in this thread seems mad forced. y'all mad at cuban for being honest about prejudices that he has because of the social conditioning that we are all a part of?
he's saying that society has conditioned people to view certain people as threat when they present themselves a certain way....for black people, particularly young black people, it's hoodies, for white people it's bald heads and tattoos and that he's not above anybody else when it comes to falling victim to this programming when in a certain situation. He's not saying it's right, he's saying it is what it is. I don't know why he's even commenting in the first place, but Cuban is known for being a loud mouth and very opinionated.
people need to stop falling for every media manufactured controversy that gets thrown out there....ever since this sterling shyt the media been salivating at the chance to prolong this bullshyt as much as possible...meanwhile aint shyt gonna change.
Great analogy... Most of them live in a bubble and are so far removed from the current Black experience that they honestly believe what they're saying..
These Pharell and Kobe types probably have positive experiences with 99% of the white people they come in contact with....They perform infront of crowds of thousands of adoring white faces.. So their mentality is "Being Black in America is pretty freakin awesome isn't it?"
And the longer they live in the bubble the more they lose their ability to contextualize
I know what the fukk he said. You dont get props for being honest if your insulting someone. My coworker is fat. If i say im disgusted seeing their fat rolls everymorning i dont get props for being honest. I get fired. And people were conditoned to see blacks as 3/5s of a human being for long time too.. you give those cacs a pass too?
They do it all the time as an excuse to kill and abuse young black men and send them to jail. why so think zimmerman confronted trayvon with a gun... Same thing with jordan davis and every other unarmed black kid gunned down by police every day.

This was a underrated postSo Cuban can be afraid of a black kid in a hoodie, but what if a kid looks like this....
or this...
or maybe this...
or finally this
Would he just think they were innocent white kids with innocent thoughts? That's the problem with stereotyping, you miss real threats by focusing your attention on the wrong things.
All white kids, all mass murderers...yet somehow not labled a threat to society.....
Yes, let's not be hypocritical here....
You do get that Cuban was preaching against the line of thinking that has white people look at a black person in a hoodie and fear fear right? He wasn't defending that line of thinking at all or even saying it was justifiable or right. If you read the whole quote it's very clear. So Cuban can be afraid of a black kid in a hoodie, but what if a kid looks like this....

These people get it. They just look for any way to avoid speaking against a white person being racist. They're mentally weak. This should be EVERY BLACK PERSONS retort when someone says some non-nonsensical shiit like what Cuban or Sterling says.Cause it's the hood, of course nikkas gonna be on alert. Low income areas breed crime. The problem is when nikkas like black thought say ALL black youth should be looked at as threats. Not every black person lives in the hood or is a thug. When I was in Bankhead Court in Atlanta, I was catious because it is known as a high crime area. When I go to Gwinett or the Perimeter mall in Dunwoody, I'm not cautious like that and yes there are plenty of black people in both of those areas. The difference is, they are not KNOWN as high crime areas. Thats common sense right? And then ask yourself when the last time Mark Cuban been to a high crime area? That dude lives in a gated community and hangs in the richest part of every city he is in. How fukking often would he come in contact with an actual thug nikka? What he was saying is he is suspect of ALL black people.
nah yung....either he has been a victim (which I highly doubt), he has been taught to believe that (highly plausible) or he's just as moronic as the ones "he likes to see them make idiots of themselves" by believing false narratives that black men are this ONE way

Man, I hate when people like you low key for Cuban. B-b-b-but he's not really racist. He's just , y'all. Foh.I don't think he's "racist". I do think he's scared of what could potentially happen to him considering the fact that he's a "rogue" owner. Wouldn't shock me if he had some dirt as well. The refs already got together and cost him the 06 Championship due to his constant shytting on their job performance. I'm sure other owners don't like his ass as well. Again, if you don't wanna worry about that slipper slope, keep your bigotry to yourself.
I'm still kinda hopin that Sterling goes Nino Brown on the other owners after his ousting. Drop that dirt!!!
But if this shyt aint unanimous, the players that play for that owner who votes no better boycott.
And black people will continue watching the NBA c00n festival, and black men will still sell their bodies to these racists. shyt like this makes me hate my own people. fukking cowards.if he's not, i'd like every black player to sit out from that point....but that probably wont happen...I expect silver and the nba to be like 'well, we tried, yall happy?' and go on with business as usual....
