Man, I hate when people like you low key :cape: for Cuban. B-b-b-but he's not really racist. He's just :troll:, y'all. Foh.

:childplease:

Everything he has said after Sterling's tapes were unearthed has revealed who Mark Cuban is. I always knew he was a racist. He treats his players like glorified pets. He doesn't respect them and you can see that in his interactions with them on the court.

It took this to make you see who Mark Cuban was?

the question you should be asking... is when did Mark Cuban ever hide who he was from anybody?

How, breh? Black people are looking real WEAK out here. We are literally walking back onto the plantation and putting our shackles back on with huge grins on our faces. You got disgraceful fakkits like Terry Crews :cape: for this racism. You got the Clippers players suiting up and making money for a racist that exposed how he feels about them and their people. Black people are getting shytted on and we aren't doing ANYTHING about it! If Sterling had said he hated gays, his ass would be GONE.

No he wouldn't, Cause the Orlando Magic owner voted against gay marraige, gave 100 racks to organizations to vote gay rights down, and doesn't believe in it....and voiced his opinions recently..... and nobody gave a flying fukk about it.

The Magic Owner Is Not A Fan Of Gay Rights | NBA & Sterling | SportsGrid

The NBA is being bytched by the media into doing something, nothing more.

Richard DeVos considers himself a prototypical Christian of sorts, who seeks to reunite two long divided Protestant sects. DeVos is very religious, and lives his life by the word of the Christian Reformed Church, which should mean something like “we are all God’s children and in this thing together.” Apparently not. Judging by this interview, the billionaire Amway co-founder selects his acts of charity for people he deems deserving. Read what he told mLive back in 2009, and let it slosh around in that skull of yours for a while.
[mLive] Q: You gave $100,000 to the effort to defeat the recognition of gay marriage in Florida. Why did you choose to put money behind that cause?

A: Because I believe in it. That’s just a sacred issue of respecting marriage. It was not an anti-gay thing.

I have been hung in effigy by the gay community for a long time, from when I was on President Reagan’s first AIDS commission…

From that point on, that’s when they were hanging me in effigy because I wasn’t sympathetic to all of their requests for special treatment. Because at that time it was always somebody else’s fault. And I said, “You are responsible for your actions, too, you know. Conduct yourself properly,” which is a pretty solid Christian principle. You’ve got to take responsibility for your actions. It went from there to a series of requests for special treatment…

…Call [gay marriage] something else. Call it anything you want to. But marriage is a sacred document, OK? A sacred sacrament in the church and in the world. Don’t mess with it.

Go do something else. I deal with a lot of wonderful gay people. I hire a lot of them. I use a lot of them. I respect them. They’re terrific. I am good friends with them. But you live your life the way you want to live and I’ll live mine and I won’t stick my nose in yours. But don’t keep trying to change things. That’s all.

His insistence that gay folks shouldn’t “keep trying to change things” sounds like the most callous, simple, and ignorant way to view the issue of gay rights — something he also deems “favors.” Because “helping thy neighbor” is “special treatment” when it comes to laws enacted to deter hate crimes, the spread of HIV/AIDS, and workplace discrimination.

Hey, this isn’t nearly the same thing as Donald Sterling’s recorded hate-rant. It is, however, food for thought when discussing the NBA as a place for everyone, vis-a-vis the opinions held by the owners.

oh, it's gonna be tough to do, never said it would be easy...but it's something we still need to do...we need to educate others, especially the youth....it starts with small steps like having open discussions about this shyt...finally acknowledging the elephant in the room instead of trying to ignore and move around said elephant...we cant give up the fight...

So he defended Josh Howard because it benefits him....but how does it benefit him to admit that he may be prejudiced himself when put in certain situations? I'm saying if you are going to blast Cuban for what you may perceive to be negative views on black people, then you have to give him credit when it's the opposite.
Use Your brain man. Cuban attempted to rationalize/normalize his prejudices using that "we're all prejudice" bs. The fact of the matter is that there are a lot of people who sympathize with Sterling and what he was caught saying because they have the same mentality. It's just not pc to come out and support Sterling because his comments left little room to defend him. Sterling was too honest to be defended while Cuban sugarcoated his racist mentality with just enough bullshyt for people to spin what he said and pretend as if it holds weight. His comments hold zero weight. I'm more insulted by what he said than what Sterling said because Sterling was at least being honest. Cuban is being disingenuous in effort to manipulate people.(FOH with that rehabilitating racists nonsense) Cuban's comments were made to low key defend Sterling and sway the owners not to force him out of the league. If you don't see that then you're not seeing clearly.

Cubans a smart dude...I agree with most of what he said, and i think folks are way too sensitive nowadays. He probably shoulda stayed away from the hoodie reference, but I dont think he meant any disrespect to Trayvon Martin and his fam.

I got people i work with that hate me, people that talk sh*t in Spanish about me behind my back, or sometimes while I'm there...I could care less. I'm cool with myself :to:

Its sad we gotta live in a world where people are scrutinized and criticized for their words. Everybody makes mistakes, I can forgive anyone for anything that doesnt involve physical harm to me, my family or friends.

Maybe some of this criticism we're seeing of athletes, celebrities, and well known public figures is a product of folks not being comfortable with themselves. Yea, Im not happy with myself so Im gonna join forces with all these other haters and assassinate someones character :comeon:

And for the record, Im not really talking about Sterling here. Im saying in general people need to stop all the hating and learn to be more comfortable in their own skin. I dont support what Sterling said and it'd obviously be best to see him removed as an owner. But what was it Kenny Smith said? I think he said you can't beat hate with hate. You gotta beat hate with love

what about disrespect as any black kid/person in a hoddie is a thug?

How many pics do I have to post to ask how does it compare to a neo-nazi....what is an article of clothing?
C'on son!!! A thug/neo-nazi does not equal a black person in a hoodie!!!

if Stephen A took off his sports coats and put on a hoodie to walk to the deli he's a thug now?1!!??!

What's cowardly is jumping in front of a suspected racist like Cuban bending over backwards to rationalize what he said in an effort to protect him instead of challenging him. Cuban admitted to having prejudices against blacks and we've got c00ns defending him.

Where am I defending him?

Let me tell yall something about you soft booty nikkas.....

nikkas is actually outraged that white folks admit they white folks

A white billionaire has biases against non-whites? Who would have thought? :stopitslime:

Despite the 400 year narrative leading up to current day, somehow, a white person indirectly expressing that they support white supremacy is what grinds yall gears?

GTFOH

You got 100s of pages of selective rage against white rhetoric in these forums........as opposed to 10-20 pages against public policy that's being put in place to further entrap nikkas into the prison system...

We bark at shyt that's easy and doesn't require a fight, and this is one of them......When dem honkeys was at Josh Howard neck, I didn't see nan nikka, myself included, stand up for him....The only motherfukka that had a platform that stood up for him, was Cuban.....

All I'm saying is people have been trained on being outraged at what's easy..... but aint really got the fortitude to get after issues that require serious effort and sacrifices......

So with all the documented history of atrocities, crimes against humanity, capitalistic wars, etc etc.....me hearing a white man admitting that he's prejudiced doesn't raise my blood pressure at all........I came to this realization when I was 8 years old.......Don't know what the fukk took yall so long.....?

What yall nikkas gon do now?.....Yall gon organize a boycott against the Mavericks? :lolbron:

Josh Howard was one of the best players on his team and was very beneficial to Cuban that's why he "stuck his neck out". Cats like you are simply the worst because you'll literally say anything to excuse and deflect from white racism. The was nothing at all honest about Cuban's admissision. He initially tried to justify his apparent racist views with that "uh uh we all have prejudices" bulllshyt. He then used an invalid analogy to try and support his bullshyt but it only exposed the racist anti-black mentality that the public is supposedly condemning in the 1st place. He then went on to kick so more shyt in defense of Sterling trying to Lowry make the case that his team shouldn't be taken from him. fukk Cuban and anybody that fell for this stunt.

He didn't have to stick his neck out. He didn't have to do shyt but cut his check.....Josh stayed hurt, and Kidd, Dirk, and the Jet was feeding that nikka.....He could have easily been replaced.....B Ball fans knew it......and Cuban knew it...but he stuck up for him anyway.....What happened to Josh after he left Dallas?

See, the crazy part about, I can tell yall nikkas aint never really dealt with white folks or experienced real racism in your life.....

And yes we ALL have prejudices. Its the American way

a thug is not simply a hoodie that everyone from 2-100+ wears....what is counterculture about a hoodie that induces fear? A common articles of clothing on a black man looks different than on a white guy?
