You're kidding right? The media wants this to go away as soon as possible. Having white supremacy put under a microscope like this is their worst nightmare. Sterling is saying WAY too much already. For example, when he made the comment about the black community not existing, a lot of them were like .
I just listened to his comments and the outrage in this thread seems mad forced. y'all mad at cuban for being honest about prejudices that he has because of the social conditioning that we are all a part of?
he's saying that society has conditioned people to view certain people as threat when they present themselves a certain way....for black people, particularly young black people, it's hoodies, for white people it's bald heads and tattoos and that he's not above anybody else when it comes to falling victim to this programming when in a certain situation. He's not saying it's right, he's saying it is what it is. I don't know why he's even commenting in the first place, but Cuban is known for being a loud mouth and very opinionated.
.

What's cowardly is jumping in front of a suspected racist like Cuban bending over backwards to rationalize what he said in an effort to protect him instead of challenging him. Cuban admitted to having prejudices against blacks and we've got c00ns defending him.All we have are quotes from Cuban with no context. I'm sure(not 100%) that he was not painting a scenario of encountering a brother in a hoodie in his neighborhood, cause anyone on his block has a net worth of at least 20 million and jacking someone is the last thing on his mind.......
the media has the power to put whatever they want out there, don't kid yourself.

And who is responsible for this social conditioning? Who does it benefit? Who controls the media to reinforce these stereotypes. You know who. Cacs like cuban. that neo nazi aint getting gunned down in the street like dog. But cacs will justify killing black kids off stereotypes. cacs like cuban love to be honest about their prejudice but will never be honest about their white privelge.
And notice how they've been deflecting with the Magic Johnson comments and not focusing on his housing discrimination cases. Just focusing on the comments and the fact that they were private recordings.
nah yung....either he has been a victim (which I highly doubt), he has been taught to believe that (highly plausible) or he's just as moronic as the ones "he likes to see them make idiots of themselves" by believing false narratives that black men are this ONE wayWe are discussing cubans comments. He's basically saying that he thinks the way he does because he's been conditioned to by factors that are beyond his control and everyone elses, so in that respect he IS being honest....but all you see is black kid and hoodie because that's all you want to see so you can act outraged. I'm sorry bruh but I'm not buying it.
How many white people in his position would even admit that they may feel intimidated by a young black male in a hoodie?
And nobody addressed that question I asked about the whole Josh Howard situation from years back. If dude is really a racist why would he stick his neck out for dude like that?
Sad shyt is though, people like Cuban have power and make hiring decisions, so that bias is a lot more powerful.some of yall are just slow. all cuban was saying was anyone who stereotypically looks like a thug, white or black, he will be on guard. the only thing he did wrong was use poor examples, but if you have at least average brain power you get what he was saying. another non story blown up by the media and idiots.
