Again, from Cuban's actions and shyt before this Sterling shyt popped off, I saw nothing exhibiting racist tendencies from him. I do think he's scared of the ramifications of this type of shyt down the line, maybe some skeletons in his closet (not even racially related skeletons either, maybe some other shyt like shytting on gay people on the low). I do agree with him that it's a "slippery slope", but again that is the game nowadays. They wanna hold players accountable, it's only fair the owners are held accountable as well.

As the NBA's most disgruntled owner it makes sense that he'd be wary of setting a precedent of voting outspoken owners out of their ownership stake. He's also saying something that none of the other owners who've known Sterling for years w/o issue have the guts to come out and say. They'll all vote unanimously to kick him out of their club while doing and thinking and acting in private exactly like Sterling. Then we'll all pretend racism is over until the next time somebody steps on somebody's sneakers.

Yeah I get it. I think the conflict is that we all want the right to be offensive as long as it isn't our particular group that's being offended. However, at this point the Sterling fiasco has gone way beyond just some guy making private comments that went public. There's no reason to defend him or try to make this an isolated incident after the interview he gave Anderson Cooper. He's embarrassing the league and has a history of discriminatory behavior. It's a new commissioner and a new more proactive league. Plus anyone who has the wealth to own a team has the resources to defend themselves in court and the media. I'm not going to lose any sleep over billionaires being held to the same standards that players are.

At this point Cuban is just making himself look bad even if it's for a good reason.
